GT6 Demo in July!

The ultimate question is which day in July is it going to come out?

If a company just announces a month for release, it usually means: Prepare for it to come out on the last possible working day... And since PD is not a company that's releasing stuff ahead of deadlines, I personally think it will be on July 25th or 30th.

On the other hand: wouldn't it be clever from a marketing stand-point and great for us to get the demo right after the F1 Grand-Prix in Silverstone on June 30?

For some reason, I think the demo'll feature the GT Academy Nissan-cars (might already have been confirmed?), so it's not really a surprise for me. There'll only be one demo, right?

Yeaaa, only one demo. It's unfortunate that it'll only be Nissan, but it's a good thing that they'll likely be the GT Academy versions meaning that half will be tuned and half not. Let's hope for various track locations.

The Host said 2nd July. That is a Tuesday which is normal PSN update day in the US. Hopefully we'll get it at the same time.

Bah, was really hoping the "demo" would be more than GTAcademy. Trying some of the new cars is more important to me than (mostly) the same Nissans as last year, especially since Canada probably won't be included, again.

I was hoping for some of the other cars as well but I'll take what I can get at this point.

I wonder if it will just be Silverstone or if we may get a chance to drive on some of the other tracks?

Just moved to Australia from the States. So, I feel your pain now. At least we'll get to try out the new physics though.

On the bright side, we'll be able to compare how the same cars behave with the new physics. But I agree that we could use some different cars.
Honestly, this didn't surprise me, though.

I hope it's more than 1 track... If it's only Silverstone it'll get boring fast. :guilty:

It'll be near identical to last years standalone game I would imagine. Five or six cars, four or five tracks with a full lap of Silverstone being the final time trial.
