What did you put in the tank, Hall? Jet fuel?
was thinking of pushimg Gordon for a Championship run but seems like the Montaya Chevy is aflame.
Some time ago I used Montaya Chevy in a Time Trial at the same track, so I got it out and won and it handles so well at this track, and I think the NO.42 is the fasters of them all. No I did not put jet fuel in the car just a good setup 👍.

I guess you missed the Daytona 500 in which Juan rammed into a tanker of jet fuel on the track.
Gonna be interesting to see which car comes out on top - and also in The Horse Whisperer - which Ferrari would do best.
Right now seems like nowayback is whispering dolce far niente into his Dino's ear. He's also soldering a spot for himself atop the Circuit-MiEVster Board.

The Moose has been of to see the Whizzard from Aussie (and did well) while also holding on to the Pro-Tourer Guru mantle for the moment.

Steve has taken charge of the Gullwing Squad, and DisabledRacer has launched his career as The Rocketeer.

All in all some good action to lead off but only a week left for these events - except for the Custom Track event - which will go on for 3 weeks more to give everybody time to download the track and get to work on it.

Ho.. ho.. Can win with this Gull Wing . Not a fast time, still no aids. Will put the aids on in 'future'.

It is addictive - and a problem. I go in with the mindset of doing several AI Hub events and then end up doing one over and over again - and hours have passed.

That sounds familiar. I've been pretty disciplined this time, having a quick go at all of them, but I did spend a ridiculous amount of time with the iMiEV, including testing it out before setting the challenge. I tend to get more obsessed with the beginner races because I can get closer to that elusive perfect lap.

Yep, that works well.
The overall time was only a bit faster than before but this was with zero drafting opportunities so it'll definitely do better.

Hey @photonrider and @Baron Blitz Red, you didn't tell me there was a beer named after me. Although I suppose in Canada pretty much everything is named after me.

There was a time that beer wasn't available in Ontario - I remember stowing a 24 case under my seat on the flight over from St. John's somewhere in the late 80's. Freely available now at the LCBO. you can't go wrong with that beer - even as an avatar.

Stunning work with the Falcon! 👍

J. Delaunay really intelligent! :banghead:

Yes. One of the more intelligent, playful, smart, fast, and I might even say 'friendliest' (as in 'ready to play') of these rabbits. Most of them - including Mathis and Griffith and that darn March have all come around again to see what numbers we can throw at them to chew on.

I've never actually tried it. The picture came up on Facebook, posted by one of my younger friends who likes to post a picture of everything they are eating or drinking. It must be available in the uk. I'll have to look out for it.

I will fire up the No.42 and let my good friend Juan Pablo Montoya have a go at this ;).

Well you know we've been talking about beer, so #24 just make sense. ;) 42's do make a nice measurement on certain things however, I'll admit that.

Cheers

42 has always been the answer. :) hall90 just has to prove it.

Steve has given up bossing the Gullwing Squad to new boss lasrjock and instead taken the soldering iron from nowayback - to become the new Circuit-MiEVster. Some hot lead required from nowayback now.
The Moose has gone deeper into Oz. No changes to the other events.

Leaderboards updated to this point

Getting better, but still need to improve more...

Hi. guys, just wanted to know is it PD have chuck away all older years Nascar ? When ? Remaining is years 2013. Couldn't find the 2010/2011 models on the dealership now. :yuck:

Interesting. Was this some undocumented change? I have two 2011 NASCAR race cars in my garage, however, haven't hit the console in days - so I'll check the dealerships next time around.
And . . . um . . . are you lost? :dopey:

Looks like Montaya better allow Hall to be his RL crew chief. The Baron's not doing so bad either showing Gordon how to run his car. 👍

OP updated to this point.

I'm pretty sure it does not matter what NASCAR you choose, they are identical.
In both TT's we've had so far, the leaderboards has been filled with a variety of different cars. both 2010's, 2011's, and 2013's.

Ford's have been scarce though, but I think that is down to peoples personal preferences rather than the car's performance.

That's my 5 cents on it anyway.

I don't know how anyone can claim all NASCAR cars are the same. I mean Andromeda's is obviously much faster than mine. Actually Whoosiergirl did some extensive testing a while back and concluded that some are more equal than others. The differences are tiny though and to all intents and purposes they are identical. The old ones are still available in the recommended cars section so bought myself a 2010 Ford just to be different. Didn't help. I still can't drive the bloody thing. I've not won the race nor got below 8 minutes yet. It makes me yearn to be back in the Falcon, and that's something I never imagined myself saying.
Fantastic time by @TRL_Andromeda

I'm not going to argue with this, as I believe you are right, as are Whoosier, as am I.
Its very difficult to measure these kind of subtle differences, simply because if you believe there is a difference, you will find a difference. but I do not believe there is a difference, and therefore I will not find any differences.
This is the power of the mighty placebo.
