I don't think we have a HSV-010 - GR Base Model '12 but I think we have a Vehicle: HSV-010 - GT Base Model '12, can you check this.

Well, as suggested I tried the 500 1.2 8V Lounge SS '08 but the best that I could was 5:12.000. However, I did improve my RUF time to 4:52.908. As R. Holzman shows, even the AI can do it in just over 4:55.

Great time for the first lap:tup: @RMan72

My best first lap so far is a 1:20.045 so your 1:19.869 lap has got me beat!

I notice that the AI struggles driving the DeltaWing around this Red Bull track so I decided to see if I could catch him:mischievous: so I hop into my Chaparral 2J and run some laps. By my third race I'm starting to find some speed and manage to lap the DeltaWing a few corners before the end of lap # 6. Here I am catching up to the DeltaWing as I near the end of lap # 6:

Here's the view from the DeltaWing as GTsail drives past in the 2J:

The DeltaWing's best lap was a 1:32.073 so its not surprising that I can catch him:

NEW EVENT UP!
This comes from GTsail290 who won the last big Offline Race Event - The French Kaiser.

An interest puzzle - how fast can you find D. Molinari (who drives the BMW V12 LMR) and how quickly can you get away from him?
Maybe a talk with his Pit Boss might help.

Here's an early attempt at the Beemer Dreamweaver:

The above race was a close win, so on a second attempt that's 16 seconds faster overall:

OK, what's the story???

The margin is the same:confused::banghead::banghead:

Who designed this challenge???:irked: Words!!!:D:D

My latest attempt, now with a 0.854 margin:

There is some serious rubber-banding going on!!!:boggled::sick:

Must find more pace!
Back to the 'Ring for me!
:cheers:GTsail

Beemer Dreamweaver, nice one, Bad spin out before long straight at end, Moli passed me, I then passed him start of 2nd lap and he spun out .Diff got to 10 secs, increased it to 21 before long straight at end and he reduced it to 14. So not sure how fast he can go yet .

Well done! @nowayback

The greatest margin that I've been able to achieve was 5 seconds, and then Molinari tracked me down on Dottinger and I still had no margin at the end of the race.:grumpy: I've been trying to break the rubber-band but haven't yet found a way.

:cheers:GTsail

He can do a 16:57

Just to say I can do it... an entry for the Dreamweaver

He started in first and was racing my 🤬 off to catch him by Karussel on the 2nd lap. I had a 4 second lead at one point, but that evaporated on the Long Mile. Been a long time since the AI made me sweat!

Cheers

My latest Beemer Dreamweaver:

24634004034_2e25274b30_b.jpg

I was able to stretch out a 10.094 second lead over Molinari when he hit the checkpoint at the beginning of Dottinger but then he flew down the straight and left me with just 3 seconds as shown above:

I found another couple of tenths for the Beemer Dreamweaver:

24685766524_42beda232c_b.jpg

The split at the beginning of Dottinger was 9.7 seconds, so Molinari was still trying to reel me in at the end of the race:nervous:

You need him to spin out....yea he makes up 7secs at end of race

After many more Beemer Dreamweaver attempts, I've found three more seconds and achieved a 6.9 second MOV!:)

24744390544_80762e9cd3_b.jpg

I had a 13.3 second lead at the Dottinger checkpoint:

25079505000_6396212c41_b.jpg

I even had a 7.9 second lead at the Dottinger checkpoint on lap # 1:

You need him to spin out....

^^^^I've tried this a number of times, but haven't had a successful outcome. Usually I get spun out myself for my troubles.:irked::(

See you on the track!

I finally found some wheel time today, while I have a couple days off between an old job and my new job. I felt a bit rusty to start but the new seasonal TT's got me back in the groove pretty quick!

Here's one for the PP Ninja: 5:04.640
20160229_190930.jpg

And a little improvement for the Rocket: +02.468
20160229_195237.jpg

I also noticed a little error @photonrider for RMan's time in the Rocket challenge. Shouldn't his time be +03.147 and not +0.099?? Still a great time! This Pace event is tough!

I found some more pace for the Herd Bull challenge::)

25110991290_03a3f982ce_b.jpg

Three attempts before the above race, I ran a 1:19.170 first lap but then lost control of my HSV going thru the hairpin on my third lap.:yuck::sick: I was quite disgruntled:irked:, but I was running some decent laps so I figured I should be able to repeat my time if I kept at it, and then I ran the above lap!:)

I don't know what was supposed to happen with the beginner level seasonal since we had a tie in the last event, but my apologies for not coming up with an event. I had a horrific life-changing experience happen back on February 12th that I hope none of you will ever have to experience. I went to check on a friend of mine who I hadn't heard from in a week who was going through a rough time..... I found him dead in his apartment after committing suicide. Needless to say, it hasn't been easy on me since that day.

So....Photonrider, If you or someone else can up with an event for the week remaining in the event, I would appreciate it. Hopefully in time, I can get back to "trying" to compete with some of you aliens in a few events.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend man. :(

Take all the time you need, you know where we all are if you want to talk to us. :)

That's shocking to read, let alone experience in real life. :(
I'm very sorry you had to undergo that. As the others have already mentioned - we're here for you - at least virtually - so you are not totally alone.

The AI events are only as important as we make them and we are casual about it, so there is absolutely no pressure on you at all, take your time, whatever, whenever.
This is a life-changing experience for you, so you need to be balanced and focused as you get through the coming months. Keep the memory of your friend dear to you, but never forget the words: "This, too, shall pass."
👍
Regards.
H.

Third place in the Herd Bull challenge!! Well done!👍 @nowayback

I was thinking that 4th place might be possible for someone, but third!!!

The Herd Bull:
It took me a while to find a lineup that was slow enough for me to catch:drool:, but after a bunch of searching I found one and was able to reach 4th place:)
