Guys . . . I post up an event - and then get beaten so badly in 24 hours?

This is humiliating. I expect to put up 10:58 and someone comes along and posts 10:50 . . . okay . . and someone else comes along and does 10:45 . . . good . . . and someone comes along and takes a few seconds off again . . okay . . . but this taking almost a whole minute off my time as soon as i turn my back is getting a trifle irritating.
That's the name of the game I s'pose.

All right, I'm kidding, I'm loving it - great to see an event getting popular. It's a super race - long time since we thrashed Bathurst and the 155 TI is a sheer blast to drive on this course. Gearing is important - TBH, I had only one shot at it to generate a screenshot for the challenge, so I know that a very good time can be made here - I was actually dawdling behind the BMW GT-R for the last two laps. I won't be surprised to see someone break !0:00 - it's still early days for this event and the thousandths will start to be shaved off soon - a good tune is imperative here since the car is below the maximum PP allowable.
Cutting the chicane may help (or it may actually slow you down if you don't do it right - I cut it once to avoid a collision) but otherwise everything goes so if you guys want to run the 'old' course (no chicane) run it as you will and may the best driver win - it's a leveled playing field.
I took the Golf out to try being a 'Deep Driver' and couldn't get past 4th - the Golf doesn't turn, and the gearing is a mess - have to go back to it since it's quite an interesting challenge - obviously it can be done, it has been done, so the rest of us must attempt it.
