Attention: This list is WIP (Work in Progress). All these cars which are on the list, aren't in GT6. But I just want you to know that in my GT7, the 1243 cars which are in GT6, must not be gone. But the duplicates must be merged as trim options in one car and replaced by cars which aren't in GT yet.

Ex: Veyron 16.4 '13 replaced by Veyron Super Sport '10.

BOLD means that a car is present in GT6.

What do you think of my list?
How many cars is this? It must be at least 150

Actually Gran Turismo premium cars are more detailed than Forza 5 cars....

I Think PD Should delete every standard cars, stay with premium cars and put adaptive teselation on the rest of premiums, premiumize the iconic standards and add the most wished cars in the game.

Car List is still WIP.

Cars in BOLD are cars NOT currently in GT6

Why can't it be more than 150 cars? 1000 cars at least...
I wasnt saying its too much, I want to know how many cars are there. My new list which includes the GT6 cars will easily surpass 1000 even after removing the dupes. Also, you seem to have like every single post I have made on this thread :D

I have putted like on your lists because they're awesome. My list is also going to pass 1000 cars despite of duplicates being deleted from my GT7.

Do you think my list of 200 is good? Still WIP though

Haven't seen it yet just skimmed through the comments mostly saw the post, but to me anything within the range of 200-400 is better than HEY! Let's port everything over to PS4 and then turns around and looks like **** I'm done listening to PD/Kaz and bunch of lies(at this point cause where is course creator?)

100 cars is enough for me as long as they are varied.

....................I'd think 100 cars aren't gonna be enough to cover the kind of variety I have in mind...
I can think of 40-50+ cars off top of my head from NA alone, soooo yeah a good figure should be around 500-600. More will be welcome, of course.....

It's worked for a game like NFS sure it's arcade, but you race in it as well when I got done I was perfectly fine they had cars from all over as well.

My list is at 400 by Nissan

My list is at 400 by Nissan

Put it this way get around about 40 cars from each region people will be fine they and gripe and moan about 1000 cars all day, but reality is most of those cars go un-driven.

40 out NA 40 out of Europe 40 out of Japan/Asia 40(maybe 20) from Australia 40 out of Africa

What's that already up to about round about 200 already.

I think the maximum amount of cars that are needed in a game are no more than 500-600 different ones.

Whatever they decide to do, I just hope they don't lay a finger on my butterfingers (Mustang SVT Cobra R '00, Toyota Supra MkIv RZ '97, Mini Cooper 1.3i '98, Chevrolet Corvette C4 GS '96, TVR Cerbera Speed 6 '97). That is unless they upgrade the models to premium quality, then they can lay their fingers on them all day long.

How about change the old mini from a 1.3 to a Cooper S?

@Harsk100 my notifications were full of you liking my posts. Also we don't need NA, EU and AS versions of every single car. That's why there is 30 MX-5's on GT6

I'm sorry about the likes.

For the mini Cooper S, there are 3 Cooper S ('02, '05 which has just weight and power differences from '02 and '11) in GT6, but not the Morris Cooper S.

Well, NA and AS versions should be in trim options.

I mean the 1998 classic Cooper S, manufactured from 1963

The Spreadsheet is done! All of GT6's cars that should stay along with a few others. I will update it when possible but it now has 504 cars!

I'll post another spreadsheet once I have all of the cars I want on GT7 put on it.

Why are there like zero saleens in this game it's bs, some of the late 80's cars were kicking butt, then there was the SR widebody 97 and the 2000 I mean those are some deadly looking cars. And what do we get an un-updated S7 which I'm sure pperforms nothing like it's real cocounterpart. It's sad to see that many Honda and skylines yet no mustangs. So in a sense I'm glad forza has gotten a deal with Ford on that part maybe a lesson to learn...

^ Well PD is Japanese, so the lack of American cars represented in GT isn't surprising, but it is disappointing.
If you check the car list for GT6 at release, I believe you'll find that around 75% of the cars added to the game at release that counted as "New", were non-Japanese. They have been steadily moving away from being a Japan-centric game for quite some time.

There's the S7, which is a standard.

yea i didnt mean it looks plain but the way the car handles the amount of oversteer it has i think is too much, that thing did win a couple of championships over the c6r's so its a little strange to me.

While GT's car list is very big, it is also a bit unbalanced. Certain brands have way fewer models than others, even if they have been around for a long time and have produced a lot of decent cars.

Audi and Volkswagen aren't all that well represented, for example, but they are extremely common in europe, both reasonably priced models and high-end models.

YES!

PD were doing just fine with the GT6 "new to GT6" car list. We only got 3 "production" cars from the year 2014. Discount the 2014 Red Bulls and VGTs. We aren't given many different cars from 2012 & 2013 either. In GT7, I'd rather PD begin with cars from 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2013. Then, add cars from the 19th and 20th centuries.

I tried to add a few saleens, the 2006 Twin Turbo S7 and S281E tuned Mustang along with the S5S Raptor

The fictional GT race cars match what race cars?
