I'm thinking of uninstalling some stuff and reinstalling GTA, but I don't have any friends who play on PC which means even though I'm not that far behind it still wouldn't be fun to try and catch up.

Inb4 they add another useless contact and spam your phone with texts and unskippable calls.

I can forgive the other crap they do with each update, but phone contacts are valuable real estate that I do not like to waste.
*beep* "Public service announcement from LJT. Cocaine production has skidded to a halt because someone didn't resupply the business! If you wanna make money, go and get some supplies!"

Update: Bought a hangar (The cheapest one, surprise surprise) and painted most of my aircraft. I've been entertaining myself by doing the VTOL speed glitch in my purple Hydra. :D

GTA FiveM. Just do that. Honestly role playing or messing about in modded servers is a lot more fun than coming home to relax by basically working in the game.

Maybe, but I'm not sure if those dedicated servers would operate similarly to GTA:embarrassed: where players can own properties and fill garages and have those saved for them when they leave. As much as I dislike how much of a grind there is, I still enjoy having a bit of progression to keep me coming back.

The Buckingham Pyro is available for purchase for 4.4 million.

Even though the source material of the de Havilland Vampire is freaking awesome, the Pyro is actually the worst weaponized jet of them all. The only plus comes in being able to carry a second person, but that's it, really. It's just not worth the price. Players still savvy for a new "jet" should go pick up the Nokota when that comes.

I was on the GTAForums and I heard people say that in terms of its maneuverability, the Pyro outperforms both the Hydra and Lazer.

Not sure on that but if it's true, kinda interesting for an airplane that doesn't have good Arsenal.

All in all it cost me about 3.8 million fully upgraded. This thing handles very well and it's the fastest thing in the skies.

I just outran a hydra. He was left faaaaaar behind. Wasn't even close.

This thing is rapid.

If this fact is true, then I'm definitely going to plan on buying this plane.

According to a user on Reddit, although the Pyro uses a non explosive cannon, the cannon does as much damage as how a explosive cannon would usually do just without the splash damage.

If that's true, imo this plane is definitely worth it if you can at least get the securo serve trade in price as it's pretty much a balanced Lazer. And if you're good at dogfighting, you could seriously embarrass the living hell out of those pesky hydra / Lazer griefing freaks with the addition of it being a two seater so you can have your friend watch you shred them and just get a good laugh at how you're beating a hydra with a non explosive machine gun.

How many missions do I need to complete to get the Ultralight's trade price? It's 25% off currently, and if I can get the discount on the trade version I'll be very happy.

Three. If you touched smuggling at all, you probably already unlocked it.

I've only painted my Pegasus aircraft so far. Thank you. What would be the easiest missions that can be done solo?
Set up the smuggling business. Buy two crates. If you’re not unfortunate enough to get the mission with the Hunter or the Titan escort, then it’ll take ~20 minutes.

You've got to do three source missions. Some are easier than others solo. None are terribly difficult, but some time consuming.

If you see me online I'll be glad to help. Will take just a few minutes.

It's late but R* announced the Pyro

Through October 16th you'll have ample opportunity to rack up your in-game cash and rep. Take advantage of extended Double GTA$ & RP in the jet-fueled, Capture-inspired Stockpile, the most recent Adversary Mode to land in GTA Online. And speaking of landing, parachute your way into the desolate warzone that is Motor Wars, also doling out Double GTA$ & RP this week.

Plus, Bunker Research and Manufacturing and Biker Business Production will be running 25% faster, giving you more bang for your buck as you trade your way to the top.

DISCOUNTS & UPGRADES

If you're looking to get in on some smuggling or gunrunning action, whip out your iFruit and head to the Maze Bank Foreclosures website, where you'll find 25% off the Fort Zancudo Hangar 3499 and the Thomson Scrapyard Bunker. There's also a meaty 25% off all Bunker Renovations, now through October 16th.

After you've settled into your new base of operations, don't miss out on the following vehicular discounts:

  • Ultralight – 25% off (both Buy it Now and Trade Price)
  • Rocket Voltic – 25% off (both Buy it Now and Trade Price)
  • Lampadati Tropos Rallye – 25% off
  • Armored Kuruma (both Buy it Now and Trade Price) – 25% off
  • Benny's Upgrades – 25% off

Would you be available tonight to help me out?

One final "thank you" to @Marcus Garvey before I go to bed: Thanks for helping me get the Ultralight and for being one of the most chill and calm people I've ever had the opportunity to play with. You really are a great person to hang out with, and I enjoy hearing your extensive knowledge of the game and the locations it's based on in real life.

Thank you for the kind words! You are more than welcome, anytime.

My modder (also my crew leader as I regularly mention) recently found out that singing to people pisses off the usual cryhard abominations that frequent the PS3 servers even more than merely killing them does. So since he had that discovery, he's started giving special songs to modded accounts who begin complaining. None are AUP friendly, but it's a surefire way to get a ton of laughs in.

Speaking of modders, we had a modder completely whiff last night after he got outed as a modder by my modder. The guy tried to freeze the entire lobby to get us out of the session but froze himself as well. My modder and my brother (who plays with a legit account) still remained in the session.

We also had an idiot who messaged my brother claiming to be a modder ragequit after my modder kept rocketing him from our rooftop base. Just like most of the modded accounts with infinite explosives, all the guy used was rockets (bad idea with my modder because he is really good without rockets even when his scripts are off). He sent him a message essentially saying "You're a terrible modder" (edited to make it AUP friendly). Note that we don't even bother trying to remove modded accounts from our lobbies because most people with them flat out suck at the game.

Also, since I know a few people that read this thread still run on the 3:

The crew I'm in (and the modders I play with) generally don't cheat unless we have a genuine reason to. I know that one member usually gets angry retorts from the crew leader when he asks for god mode vehicles. Most crew members only ask if they are heavily outgunned by a cheating modded account or are avenging a person who was using a god mode vehicle given to them by their modder. Otherwise, we stay at base and use a sniper, MG, or AR when in gunfights. I prefer to stay at our base, but a member I trust needs help, I will head off to help. If a lobby is playing with normalcy and isn't a cheating hellhole none of us bother to cheat as its a waste of our time. We all play straight up from the rooftop we base operations off of, and most of the time, we all just pick a target when multiple combatants are around us and only focus on said target unless one suddenly starts to slaughter a crew member.

We also have a policy with other modders in particular with a theory of let them be unless they begin ruining the lobby. If they threaten us in particular, we bounce them ASAP. If we suspect that they are using their mods while engaging others and confirm it, we oust them from the lobby. If they don't do anything to us or other players in the lobby, we let them stay unless they start acting like a douchebag.

TLDR:

Singing offensive songs to troll people makes them more butthurt than they would be otherwise.
Douchebag PS3 modders will always be douchebag PS3 modders even if they make themselves look like idiots in the process.
It's a bad idea to claim to be a modder on the PS3 when you are not one because a real modder will make you regret claiming to be one.
If you cheat against me on the PS3, I'll cheat too. If you fight me straight up, I'll fight you straight up. Same with members of the crew I'm in, and that rule is enforced by the modder that made the crew I am a member of.
Modders have a love hate relationship with other modders. If one messes with another modders' friends, its a pure hate relationship. But if one doesn't do anything, they coexist until the other decides to abuse the lobby.

After slogging along for a very very long time without investing in anything beyond the executive office, I finally decided to begin a business as I can only grind headhunter & sightseer so much longer. I decided to setup shop in Grapeseed with the document forgery business. Grapeseed is actually pretty convenient --within walking distance there is an apartment, a clothes store and an airfield. Better than Paleto Bay and maybe even Sandy Shores. The vistas in the shadow of Chilliad are pretty nice too. I know the document forgery is the least profitable, but I can pretend its an architecture office with a bunch of interns building models.

Had an intense dogfight against a Hydra in my Pyro tonight. The Pyro is more than capable of out-maneuvering lock on missiles, and eventually he hit me with one head on by shooting it about 5 feet away from my plane. However, I parachuted to the ground, pulled out the homing launcher, and shot him down with one shot, so technically I still won
