Given the content and value of this game, I'm not going to mess around trying to save a fiver here or there!

I understand what your saying...
...but I'm not 100% guaranteed to get it on time with the royal mail and all.
So if I can get second hand before multiplayer's out that'll be great,if not,amazon perhaps.

Does anyone know if GTA V will be downloadable on the PS4? I understand the PS4 doesn't have backwards compatibility and GTA V isn't coming to the PS4, but will it be downloadable on the PS Store?

Not sure about that one but it is possible down the line though.

If it's true what they say about it not being on PS4 at all, and exclusively on PS3 and 360, then they would need to completely redevelop it to be on PS4, downloadable and on disc, and it wouldn't be worth it at that point.

I love what they are doing with GTA Online, but the current consoles are nearing the end of their lifespan. Rockstar said they will keep GTA Online updated for a couple years. The only way I can see this is with the PC platform, which they haven't even announced development for.

This game and gt6 are for ps3. Currently there is not a big reason to get a ps4 at release. I was reading and they said yes they could of made the games for ps4 but there is already a huge market for ps3 so it makes more sense to sell the games there. They will sell way more for ps3 which makes sense. In a few years once ps4 is the standard they will make a game for that system. By that time we will have beat the current games and won't care.

Even if GTAV doesn't get a port to the next generation, I really hope that Rockstar make GTA Online for the PS4. Words could not describe how hyped I would be, it already looks amazing on the PS3 and would quite happily double dip on both versions.

Yeah, After 2 weeks of release there will be a patch that will add GTA Online to the game.

Yep it is needed. But I think it needs a download first, so it could be ported to PS4.

Maybe it's just a code that unlocks it on the disc? Probably not cause hackers could find it/unlock it.

If I should be honest, I expect V Online to comes as a game update, in some hundred MBs. We'll see, I guess .

It will, but not right away. R* has planned this out and they are willing to work with Gaikai to allow Online to work with the PS4.
