It feels like Christmas morning, just woke to see all these youtube videos. I can confirm dollar sign wheels are back.

More like a week before Christmas and you are hiding in your room with your presents that you found from underneath your parents bed. Have to admit, i peaked a bit when they first showed up on the gtaforums.

I don't know if I'll be strong willed enough to go all weekend without reading a spoiler. Might just have to go buy Saints Row 4 just to keep me occupied until release day.

What makes it feel more like Christmas is the
gameplay in the snow. ;)

Why does it feel like the game's taking too long when we are waiting for it and not long if we aren't waiting for it?

You are more conscious of time passing, sleep more that might help reduce the time. :)

Lol, not only myself is conscious about what you're saying.

Anyways, will the game allow us to use a wheel like DFGT? Sorry, a bit OT.

IV did very loosely and it sucked. Can't imagine 5 being much better.

All of the leaked videos are still on youtube, some strange things have been shown and the guys on GTA forums are going mental about them.

One video shows Franklin walking into 2 hookers, and they don't move. In GTA IV they would stumble back or fall over. And the 45 second driving video shows some heavy collisions with almost no collision damage and some weird collision physics.

The graphics look really good, but I hope they haven't messed with the player and vehicle physics too much.

About the "not moving" people, I think it might only be the hookers, as you see a person falling just before... But, who knows :boggled:?

I'm actually a bit surprised about the driving video, though...

There is probably a day one patch ready to fix some of these odd things, seems the norm these days with a big game like this.

Probably, they did to make it better. It should be a nice improvement over the previous ones.

Yeah well I'm hoping that now we have to be running to knock someone over. It was a bit over the top in GTA IV, you would always accidentally knock people over which was hilarious but not exactly realistic. But still, they should at least react a little bit if we walk into them. At the end of the driving video the player jumps on the cop and the cop falls over so the physics are still there just different maybe...

Same with the vehicle damage, probably takes a few more hits before it starts to deform properly.

So there's apparently a report going around that even though Jsticks got banned, he kept posting videos & in return, Rockstar paid him to stop.

Paid him? We are so close to the release... I bet tomorrow there are even more people leaking videos and what are Rockstar going to do? keep paying people off until the 17th? I hope I get the game early so Rockstar can pay me. :D

They won't have paid him, he might end up having to pay them though, depends on how he got the game.

He wouldn't have to pay them. There's no law I'm aware of that states you aren't allowed to have a game ahead of release and upload videos of it. Otherwise they'd just hit him with a good 'ol fashioned cease and desist order.

Atleast some of use don't care about crash damage or falling hookers. :p
I actually wonder what would happen if you drove into them...

I agree... Maybe it's just a glitch, which'll probably be sorted with the "day one patch" ASH was talking about. Surely it would be a step-back otherwise.

Like I said, it depends on how he got the game. He if bought it somewhere he'll be fine. If he got it some other way though he could be in trouble.

Yep. For all we know he could be playing one of OUR copies that his mate stole for him from the back of a store/warehouse. There would be some serious repercussions if that was the case, I'm sure of it.

Well, by having it, and distributing information, someone (him or the person he got it from) has broken an embargo or non-disclosure agreement.
Not exactly a hanging offence.

In any case, this time next week it will be extremely irrelevant :)
