If you're an electronic music fan you should add FlyLo FM to that list, Worldwide FM has a couple of good tracks on it too. Personally I mainly listen to Soulwax and FlyLo, but I also dip in and out of Rebel Radio because Johnny Cash - General Lee, East Coast Classics and the soul station (I forget the name) for Marlena Shaw - California Soul. That particular track is excellent for when you're driving along the coast, for obvious reasons.

But, after a total of around 100 hours or so, the radio stations are really starting to wear thin. I sometimes tune into Blaine County FM because I'm pretty sure Danny McBride is on it and he's funny.

I have listened to Flylo FM. It's ok, but doesn't seem all that special.

Since we're on the topic of Radio Stations, my top three favs are (not in any particular order):
Los Santos Rock Radio
Nonstop Pop FM
Space 103.2

And my least favorite is easily East Los FM. It doesn't have the same charm as TBoGT's San Juan Sounds in my opinion. :indiff:

Where is this place on the map? I havent really explored the map lot tho.

I'm going to test a little bit more, but the road that leads to and around the dam is a pretty good rally track. 💡

I think it would be really cool to host some point-to-point races there, but I don't like that we all start at once. It should be staged like in a real rally. One car goes, the next waits, then goes, etc.

I agree with the staged starts. It ends up being a "fallow the leader" race sometimes. I enjoy racing around the dam and the wind farm. Got to love those hair pin turns!

There is but unfortunately, it isn't enterable. Perhaps the interior and its interactive features could be part of future DLC.

My biggest disappointment with GTAV, I was really hoping for a functioning Casino especially all this talk about money and we got a giant tease.

Ya casino would of been sick. They have stocks which is cool but it's not as thought out as I had hoped. Too hard to make a real life stock market without confusing the hell out of everyone I guess. Casino on the other hand would of been easy to do so kinda weird they didn't do it.

Ugh. Knocking off my Stunt Jumps, and was using a map of all 50, marking them off in Photoshop as I hit them - it even meant revisiting the 13 I already had just in case. I saved the Port for the end since there's so many swarmed there, and at 2 left I got the "Undefined" glitch. I did the last two, and yet I'm sitting at 49/50 (though I've apparently found all 50). I have no idea how this has happened, but I could swear it's a lot harder to get successful jumps once the Undefined problem starts showing up.

Woops, guess I didn't actually do one from one of my more tired late night runs. Bam, all done.

Now all the other ridiculous collectibles :(

Disappointing to see this is still in the game after all this time. I like the fact they've changed it so that some of the collectibles now have missions behind them, but it's still impossible to stumble upon all of them by chance and you have to rely on external sources (even if you use Chop in the game - you still need an iPhone to do so).

That said, I don't think the solution for the submarine parts and nuclear waste collectibles is right either - where the nearest one is marked for you - it just becomes a game of join the dots with patience required.

What would be wrong with certain random encounters (and missions take you past just about all of these) rewarding you with hidden packages or collectibles? Or with characters in the game texting you to say they've heard of something you like near *this location* (this could be done with collecting hideous mesoamerican statues like the one you get for Martin Madrazo, for example) for you to go there and hunt in a small area? Stunt jumps could be turned into a minigame with a stunting group - like those moronic Hollywood Skillz bikers, which is surely a gimme for GTA - gathering around a stunt jump location (so you'd need to spot them - and then it's marked on your map when close enough) just like the street races. You join the minigame and you're given a target to land in (to take the guesswork out of it!) but you can also go back in other vehicles.

It takes so little imagination to turn these almost mindless collectible tasks into a vibrant part of the game.

Getting the spaceship part from the bridge support near the airbase, took me two evenings. At least you get a reward for getting them all, unlike the letter scraps...

Ouch, it took me as long as it took to fly there in a helicopter. If you're slow and careful you can land a helicopter (I used a Buzzard, I think, might've been a Frogger) right next to the part.

Some other open world games do hidden collectibles so much better than GTA V, I have no idea why the franchise that practically invented them is behind the curve in that respect. The map isn't great either; what if I want to toggle certain things on and off to get a better look at something? I can do it in Just Cause 2... Also the mini map is quite bad, especially online. There is just way too much clutter, you should be able to toggle what you want to see on it via the select button menu.

I think that took me two attempts with the parachute, just got to land with precision and if your character stumbles hope it's not to the ground.

Still that is why hidden packages in games are completely stupid, how on earth would anyone EVER find that one by the act of searching? Same with a couple of others, they were so off the beaten track you'd never just stumble on them even looking. If you need to use a guide or a map it's pointless, just a waste of time.

I can't believe you posted so many spoilers in one post you naughty purpl.
You of all people should realise that not everyone has finished the game yet.
I have no idea what I have to collect for martin madrazo, nor do i know there is a part on a bridge support, nor do i know of any stunt bikers......

Shame on you.
Shame I say.

Shame.

You will never get it, so you might as well forget it's there. Whatever it is or isn't.

I don't even?

Also, there aren't any stunt bikers. Hollywood Skillz are a real group of "stunters" (the clue that they're real is in the real place name - in GTA they'd be called Vinewood Skillz or something) who are most recently famous for trying to close a road to bike about like dicks and got run over by a Range Rover they were trying to intimidate.

What I was saying was that rather than a completely random search of a 40 square mile map to find the ramps that are actually jumps, stunt jumps could become a minigame and gatherings of bikers around ramps would tell you that the stunt jump is there... Then it becomes less of a frustrating search you need maps from a third party website to find - you can spot them from 100 yards away instead - and becomes an engaging part of the game.

Oh, one more thing. The general standard of missions in GTA5 is higher than at any point since GTAVC - there's almost nothing during the storyline that is in any way a chore.

But Rockstar still have the capability to design truly tedious missions. I give you "walk 5 miles in one go in a specific set of clothes in a single area that isn't marked that if you leave resets your distance to zero and if you die changes you out of your clothes and resets your distance to zero, requiring a minimum 40 minutes of holding the X button down or 22.5 minutes of battering it", solved by my eldest daughter having long hair:

Completely bang on. I've always said if you need a map to find them (and there is one available on the in game internet I believe) then it negates the whole point of hiding them.

There are three triathlons?

I'm leaving this thread......

what has been seen.......

:trouble:👍

Just wait until you get to the third triathlon then. Seriously, what does that achieve?
A new controller.

They wouldn't be so* bad if your competitor races weren't always rubber-banded.

*Moving down from thoroughly tedious to gibberingly dull

Wait until he opens the box and finds out there's a disc inside!

You mean this black box that lives underneath my television with 'PS3' on it l, plays games?

Mindblown.

Next week, VEXD is shocked when he learns about what happens to Ned Stark.
