Quick question for those who own it: What is the Vapid Sadler like? I've yet to drive one, and I just wanted to know how it is. I'm certain it isn't as good as the Sandking.

My name is legacyMACHINE (gotta change that) and I have lost 4 god damned cars... In the last day!

First was my Adder, no biggie. I'll "borrow" another one
Second was my Banshee, annoying as it was supposed to be a LM Viper replica, same with my Corquette
And my Cheetah. Which I payed for

Not to mention my stunt plane and crop duster...

But isn't a save editor detectable by R*?
As long as you don't try and edit your online character, you should be fine. I've never attempted editing my online character but I have edited my money and other things on my SP characters, and everything is still fine and dandy.

I don't think R* gives a stuff about what you do with your SP save as long as it doesn't affect your MP profile.

I had one for a bit, it feels a little under powered. I do like the looks of it and it comes in 4 versions (standard, front brush guard, roll bar, or tonneau cover). I thought it was a nice cruiser, but nothing to flee from cops or other players with.

If your just looking for a pickup, the Bison has very good power.

I've got one. I like it, but it spends most of it's time sat at the back of my garage looking pretty. It's good for road trips. Decent MPG, lots of space for the kids.

One thing I enjoyed about my Sadler was the ease in making the rear step out when the ground was wet.

Same here.. Except mines in the front O.o.

I'd be happy if I just get to 100% in game. Those stupid knife flights are so insanely difficult. :(

Today I learned there are some people who've played GTA V without completing the first mission.

Some people just go straight to GTAO without even taking a second look at single player. Which is why I'm glad I bought GTA before online came out, it gave me enough time to complete the story mode and enjoy that first, which is amazing in itself.

I played both at the same time. I guess it also helps that I was never seeing anybody in GTA Online sessions because of everyone trying to keep their characters :P

I got off lucky, all I lost was a single level 6 character with a bright yellow Fusilade.
... I still miss that Fusilade though.
:(

I only lost my character once. After that it just wouldn't load the race. :p

I lost my character once, then it mysteriously came back.

Keep trying! You'll get used to flying eventually. Flying is a very useful skill to have in-game.

EDIT: I never lost my character online because I couldn't connect. Due to a patch error, my game would freeze every time when the "Online" option appeared in the loading screen. I also froze in singleplayer if I signed in while playing.

I'm still angry about losing a lv60 character for literally NO REASON. Long after the launch issues as well.

So, I finished my *mostly* Pistol-only playthrough of GTA V campaign. I switched to the AP Pistol near the end because some of those missions got really difficult (like The Big Score-Subtle). A few missions required you to use a different gun, while others would be impossible with a pistol (A Pistol doesn't work like a sniper rifle).

It was really fun to be able to complete the game using only the default and AP pistols. I just hate the side objectives and timer for each mission. I don't like rushing through a mission. I want to hear all of the dialogue that the writers produced for this game. I still like GTA IV because for every mission, anything goes. Just complete it. No timer, no silly side tasks. Just finish it. Take as long as you need to, and play how you want to. Go in guns a-blazin' or strategically take out enemies to conserve ammunition and minimize injury towards yourself.

Not a fan of the timer here eight. Even when I do get through it quickly, it's still not fast enough. And people complain about single player campaigns not being long enough in games anymore, no reason for a developer to encourage it.

The timer includes cut scenes too, if you're meaning the gold completion. Much easier when you just skip the cut scenes.

Why would you want to skip a cutscene in this game, unless you've seen it already. I applaud R* for the amount of work they did for singleplayer (Online... yea--No). GTA V looks beautiful and it is a massive improvement over GTA IV. The devs worked their asses of with the cutscenes which can be downright hilarious in most missions. I want to see the art that they've created, not to just blow through it just to get some silly gold time I don't want to beat.

I was meaning if you're going for gold completion. I do most missions twice, first time how I want then later on I'll do it to the gold completion guidelines.
