Congratulations!

What was the hardest task/achievement, other than getting platinum itself?
Having to play through the game for a second time to get the trophy for spending 200 million between 3 characters.

...then later realizing I could have just bought stock, sold immediately, wash/rinse/repeat until I hit 200 million "spent" without anything in the game. :ouch:

@E28 @SVX - I don't doubt that the XB1 is a great console, but the PS4 is just as good, and the decisions I've made have not been based on hearsay or biased reviews, I have chosen to go for PS4 after personal experience with Microsoft and Xbox over the last two years.
I have owned virtually every console since the early 90's, and currently have 2 family PS3s.
In a nutshell, Playstation has never let me down, yet with Xbox on three or more occasions I was unable to use it due to security and login issues, it wouldn't even let me play solo games offline because of account confirmation crap.
The XBL service for the XB1 may be improved over the X360 but it is still going to have the same Microsoft security issues.
Choice is yours, but it's an expensive one

I'm in exactly the same position as @SVX here. I've always grown up around PlayStation, never owned an Xbox in my life, but with the recent flop of GT and Forza getting better every release, I was swinging towards the Xbone. However, all of my friends are on PSN, and I don't want to be in the same boat as a few of the Xbox players were here (@yabiggoose, @Ken Koios) who had very little to no fellow GTP'ers to play with. In an ideal world I'd have both the PS4 and Xbone, but I can't afford that.

Got mine recently too.

I found re playing missions to get 70 golds was the most time consuming task.
I didn't find it too difficult. I just picked out missions where I had one or two simple tasks I had missed on the first playthrough and got those gold. Since it's not required to get everything done in one mission for the Gold/100% mission completion to count, I found it extremely easy to get those 70 done.

Seeing as we're folks who enjoy driving as well as shooting poor innocent police men in the feetsies, what's everyone's favourite driving route on GTA?

It really depends on my mood on what roads I like to drive. Sometimes it's a lap of the map, sometimes it's trails, and sometimes I just love cruising around the city. (If I'm allowed to that is. )

Most places outside of the city are great to drive. Gotta love the long winding roads up in the hills.
The one from Michael's garage to the observatory and back down is great

I do like going up Mt Chilliad too, that road is fun

I have a Stratum I like to call the Rally Wagon, and I love swinging that around the trails along Raton Canyon and that area, but to be honest I like all the roads in GTA.

I'm going to gamble and look towards pre-ordering the PS4 edition of V as I don't want to miss out if it turns out to be a big seller.

I'm really curious to see how it does sales wise. It made $800 million in the first day, & $2 billion by May. If this sells even half as well as a year ago, it really shows the power of this franchise.

I think it might do pretty well because the new-gen consoles have kind of been lacking some real killer AAA titles this year and GTA is one of the biggest AAA titles of them all.

I'm curious about the spike in next-gen console sales this will create.

It's so beautiful.

Same here. I really want one now because GTA V seems like the first FPS I can enjoy, due to the ability to customize your camera settings now (Adjust field of view, allow camera to switch to third-person when using cover, etc).

Speaking of FPV, has R* said anything about being able to strafe left and right without aiming a weapon? I feel like this would be important during normal gameplay. I would rather have this and manually turn the camera myself, than it automatically turning when I press the stick to move left/right.

Additionally, I hope there's a way to move around while aiming with the Sniper Rifle and Heavy Sniper. I know that the Marksman Rifle is meant to do that, but you can't zoom in on targets. I forget what the PS4 touchpad is used for, but I would hope it could be used to adjust the scope, so the left stick can be used to walk and the right can be used to aim.

Good question. I feel the same. It'd be handy to strafe in a variety of situations. Like trying to dodge rampagers coming after you with their car.

I seen a few breeds of dogs in the trailer too. Hmmmm

I love the song choice. Kinda a stab at those not upgrading and being sore about it. Like it ain't worth it. It's just a port. You are suckers for buying the game twice.

It seems like a fair trade-off to me.

Yes, but it's just annoying. I know sniper rifles are primarily used in situations where the user won't be moving a lot, but in this game, you do need to move, especially since we can't crouch down anymore like in GTA IV.

True, but a 30 pound rifle (Yes, I looked it up.) isn't exactly the most mobile weapon, so it makes sense. You're pretty much screwed anyway if you are spotted, regardless.

Which rifle are you talking about? I like the Heavy Sniper, but I prefer the AWP.
