Even if the Grove street gang signs is just an easter egg etc, it would be nice to see whats become of the area where CJ lived :).

I'm not expecting anything more than passing references to it. And maybe one of Rockstar's infamous jokes where they break the fourth wall if players go looking for it.

Besides, the events of SAN ANDREAS make it pretty clear that the Grove Street Families went legit by the end of the game. They had to fight to protect their territory in the game's final act, but otherwise, they had left gang life behind.

After watching the trailers again I've noticed that the plane near the end of Michael's trailer might not be flyable. The door and windows seem to be just textures to me. I hope that i'm wrong though.

Also the airport seems to have a similar environment as the private jet picture from those possible GTA V screenshots in Max Payne 3.

Could just be a cut scene with Trevor in that plane. Or maybe they have separate planes for landing and taking off over and over, like the ones in GTA IV, then a couple commercial jets that are flyable.

Interesting that the cockpit seems to have some detail, I hope it isn't just for one cut scene. According to cvg, sounds like we'll find out more about that tomorrow.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSFNJ8DsnY8 5:22 in this video.

I was thinking that the plane in Michael's trailer might be mission exclusive such as the Ghawar Jet in TBoGT or the Andromada in San Andreas.

That could be a possibility... I still hope (something like) the player controlled planes in SA will be included.

On the topic of planes, I wouldn't mind seeing the return of the Rustler. That thing was a breeze to fly, and taking down Hydras and Police Mavericks with it felt so satisfying.
I can see the recreation of various Top Gear episodes involving aircrafts, like a Banshee vs the new Jet, or a Coquette vs a Buzzard*

*Bonus points if the pilot crashes the Buzzard.

(Antonov An-225)
Is this big enough ?

The real life specs are:
Length: 84 m (275 ft 7 in)
Wingspan: 88.4 m (290 ft 0 in)
Height: 18.1 m (59 ft 5 in).

Gentlemen, I think we found the new Andromada! :dopey:

(Make it happen Rockstar.)

As I might have said before; we can always hope ;). It would be really nice to fly such a massive plane, though.

Imagine a plane like that online? I wonder how many rockets from the fighter jet it would take to bring down that big behemoth.

Who knows. They could program it to be weak as hell, and brought down with a few SMG rounds.

Hopefully like in San Andreas when you destroy a plane, it blows up spectacularly, like 5 or 6 massive explosions. Maybe if the plane is significantly damaged the engine(s) could shut off or catch fire, with black smoke billowing from it?

I'm very excited to see some countryside in GTA V. One thing I missed the most in IV was that, despite having a vast car selection, there were no farms or dirt roads. I just want to throw a muscle car around the gravel and mountain / river areas, and with the more refined car physics, it should be good fun :D

I rather like the look of the desert areas outside the city. But its going to lead a whole load of that UFO myth crap that people make up every time a new GTA comes out. Causing widespread speculation about what is only a calculated white dot in the sky. I also expect we will see the Bigfoot myth once someone claims they saw something

I totally agree. The more area to explore, the better. :sly:👍

San Andreas had just over 180 cars if I remember correctly. Counting everything else, San Andreas had around 210 vehicles. I'm big into offroad when it comes to GTA-style games, so this indeed disappointed me.

Totally agree man, seems to me like they were experimenting with GTA 4 when it came to driving physics. In my opinion, GTA 4 has driving physics that rival full-blown racing games.
Each car has that distinctive 'feel' to it without being dramatically different from one another.
Hopefully they discard the idea of incorporating Midnight Club physics into GTA V, and revert back to GTA IV's physics. Either that or at the least incorporate the ability to toggle between physics styles.

I love the GTA Myth Busters! Especially this guy. 👍

I'm serious. I find them interesting. :)

If you've ever seen GTAmissions or any multiplayer events hosted originally by the BGF forum, they would host insane events in GTA IV and SA:MP. Events like BUSTED! (basically, everyone is a cop except for 1 player who is a crook. Crook has to escape the cops), demolition derbies, King of the Cup (parachute to the Statue of Happiness and don't get sniped by the person standing on top of it), and other weird custom game modes. With a plane that size, I would imagine people inventing some pretty epic games like take it down with rockets only or some other crazy stuff.

And there will probably be videos of people doing barrel rolls in it or flying upside down.

I absolutely LOVE the BGF events! Have you seen their recent Chopper Gunman vs Trophy Truck event? That was nuts! :dopey:

Who can stand on the wing the longest..... no parachutes, but a knife. that should be interesting.

I'm also big into the offroad scene, that is what I am the most excited for.

Seems a lot of us have grown fond of off roading in the world of GTA, hopefully the cars slide a tad less then IV. Hoping I can customize my car and throw some dirt tires on my cars.

If we do get another rally car, hopefully this time it won't have a hissy fit the second you go off road in it. *cough* Sultan RS *cough*
