I hope they'll put in (many) Bigfoot(s) in the mountain-area, sometimes also scaring the back-packers (). Could be an awesome experience to go hunting "Bigfoots", at night :D.

Also, climbers... Could that mean, climbing will be available for the player ?

Hunting bigfoot would be very funny.
Also climbing and scaling would be great.

Yes climbing and scaling would be great. Would be similar to Crackdown. With probably a lot more limitations.

They were supposed to reveal multiplayer this past 23rd of May but it never happened..
I don't know if I like the sound of a rectangular mini map.

The map will be a change... I liked the circular one, but let's see. Maybe Rockstar will do it in the same style as Euro Truck Simulator (2), - without the most of it, so simply just the map (- please just focus on the route advisor. I couldn't find a better picture of it);

Then add a health-, armor- (and etc.) bar... - Seems to work fine.

I think the more important question is "How did we get to the point where a game that simulates driving a lorry was so popular that there was enough demand for a sequel to be made?"

Is that a game where you simulate driving a semi?
Yes, it is :D.

👍. I've only tried the first game, but the second here, looks like it's better. I guess it's really a matter of taste :D.

Don't know if anyone is aware of this but this is CVGs attempt at mapping GTA V, they will keep updating the map in the coming weeks and months.

I wouldn't mind a square mini map. Also, call me crazy but that truck sim looks fun and beautiful! Is there a demo?

To me, it looks very small, but I guess it's zoomed quite a bit out.

You can download a free trial for it here. :)
Thanks! Screen shots on the website look amazing!
Someone should make an ETS thread :D:tup:... We sort of miss it, I guess.

"Race Track" at the right side on the middle of the photo.

Could this be a return of the famous Hotring Racer from San Andreas?

Like I said MANY MANY times in this thread, the map size comparison for GTA5 which was compared to the other Rockstar games all combined in one, includes vertical gameplay along with water gameplay. I keep telling people that. The overall map size in GTA5 is not going to be larger than all the other games combined. It includes vertical gameplay of buildings, inside buildings, mountains, sky, and underwater. The horizontal size of the map is not going to be as big as people are expecting. :sly:

Keep in mind games like RDR had almost 0 vertical gameplay. So the map layout you see for RDR is only horizontal sq ft. So that hardly even counts as a map at all in comparison to San Andreas, Vice City, and GTA4.

This is also borderline a spoiler for some people. So I might have to make the decision soon to stop visiting the forums for GTA5 once the multiplayer and co-op info is released. Because more and more spoilers will be coming. I will for sure leave once the game is announced that it has gone gold. Right after that massive spoilers will be posted like with every other game. But that's at least 1-2 months away before it goes gold. Once its gold, I am gone from this thread. haha

Me too. I'm also going to have to stay the hell away from YouTube Lets Plays and spoilers in the comments of random non-GTA related videos because people are a-holes like that.

Fact or assumption?

Fact or assumption?
Even if it is assumption, we do know that GTA V will be 4-5 times bigger than IV, so whether or not all Rockstar's game maps fit in to that or not, I'm not sure.

Remember it won't be all of their maps, only the 3 or so that they stated.

Wow that shot over the Alamo sea with the mountain in the background is breathtaking.

Good find, anyone notice Franklin's beard in one of the photos? Perhaps you can change a character's facial hair, I haven't seen anything to suggest it up until now.
