I'm not much of an online gamer, but based on that trailer alone, I'd buy it if it were a standalone multiplayer game. My friends and I are going to have some serious fun online with GTA 5.

It may be hard to tear myself away from GTA when I get my new ps4 a month or two later.
 
This game is intense! I love the focus they made on the vehicles. They better have a flippin livery editor. It still remains to be unseen. Whatever, these R* guys don't mess around!
 
It's all too easy to bandy this term around, but seriously; Best game ever. How they've had the scope and talent to put in all this stuff in single player, let alone online is phenomenal. Rockstar leads, everyone else is just playing games.
 
GTAVO'Clock made an episode yesterday but they made yet another today especially for the Online trailer and they cover what online gameplay they have seen in the flesh, the most significant point made was that online won't be available for 2 weeks.

Other points from the analysis: In online heists if you shout at the people whilst using a mic, your character will not only mouth the words but the people shoveling money into the bags will go faster. On the news coverage you can see real players being chased on TV live. Huge Island to the west of the main map.

GTA online looks to good to be true.

I sure hope this game plays smoothly enough.
I always wondered what that 4th silhouette on the character wheel is.

The single player looks good enough as it is but the online mode looks brilliant.
Hope R* don't let us down with choppy frame rate etc.
But still looks great though really great!:D
 
Judt watched the online trailer. First time i have ever actually been speechless about a game. This is going to be more than epic or amazing...

When the online feature is released: we all need to add each other and go on a massive cruise around the map in our desired cars. 💡

There are some astonishing game still coming this year,however I honestly doubt any game would be relevant because of GTA V,it's hilarious how much content they are putting in one game. R* I salute you
 
So glad I could get a discount on this game; will be best money ever spent on anything ever in the history of ever.
 
After seeing that official online video and the other GTA5 videos, nothing will top GTA5 for GOTY 2013. Or at least not in the multiplayer department.
That is seriously way better than I ever imagined for the online portion of the game.

Just found out the MP doesn't release until October 1st. Bummer.

So much so I might not get Fifa this year because GTA V and GT6 should take up more than enough time. :drool:
Some games are going to lose out on sales that they could have got because of GTA V without a doubt.
 
Oh my god. Oh my god. This game has everything I've ever wanted in a game. Just....omg. What did I do to deserve this?
 
Oh wait before I leave I just found out some bad news. The online multiplayer doesn't release until October 1st which is after my paid week off with my brother. :(
Oh well other than that I am still excited. Still kinda a bummer.
I will leave this thread after today. Little bummed about the October 1st MP.

Well the only optimistic way to look at it is I will have plenty of time to finish the campaign before the mp comes out a couple weeks later. Otherwise I might not have finished the campaign with all that mp awesomeness.
Now I am glad I stayed in this thread. I might have missed that info and been upset at launch. So good thing I stayed in here.

I might do the same as you camaroboy(leave thread for a while)don't want massive spoilers.
2 weeks is probably not enough to scratch the surface for me at least.
Just think,cruising with your mates on an airstrip,robbing banks,fly planes /choppers etc,brilliant!
 
In my opinion R* should have delayed GTAV to 1st October. Released the game without Online modes even though 15 days, is a bad decision.
I don't know, but I guess someone will make a lawsuit against R* :scared:

I agree it should have delated until they released everything together. But maybe they did it on purpose to help prevent game spoilers. It will also allow them to make quick patches to any campaign bugs before the mp is released.

Halo reach did something similar to this with their online co-op campaign. That wasn't released until over a month after the game released to prevent spoilers. I just hope other games don't start doing this. :scared:

Oh well it gives me 2 weeks to finish up everything in the campaign.
