Well, to be fair, the police did chase pedestrians in GTA IV, just on foot.

Don't they chase in cars? I honestly don't recall, but I do remember they (the cops) can steal cars and starts chasing the player in them .

Top tip, never assist the cop in shooting down a target, for some reason they turn on you.:boggled:

That's another thing I wish they'd fix. I like playing as a cop in GTA.

Ooh, on GTA IV, you can also drive full speed and jump out of your car as your speeding car hits a cop car a multiple pedestrians. No consequences though because the cops realize no one is in the car, therefore don't care at all!

I'll seriously have to try that out :D.

And it's now possible to preorder V in North America, via PlayStation Network:

igta5.com
Rockstar has announced a Day 1 Digital Version of Grand Theft Auto V.

"Starting today PS3 fans in North America and Latin America can pre-order the Day 1 Digital version of Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation Network. All Day 1 Digital pre-orders get access to fly the Atomic Blimp in-game vehicle just like those who pre-order a physical Standard Edition copy.

As an added bonus, Day 1 Digital pre-orders will also receive an exclusive PS3 theme along with 75% off on any Rockstar full game title on PSN* (to help tide you over these last few weeks before GTAV hits on September 17th). You can pre-order the Day 1 Digital version by going to the New on PS3: PSN Pre-Orders section of the PlayStation Store.

* Prices and discounts vary by territory"

For the European markets, you'll have to wait until Friday.

"PS3 fans in Europe will be able to pre-order digitally starting this Friday."

Following questions regarding an Xbox 360 version, Rockstar said the following:

"For those asking about digital pre-orders on Xbox LIVE, the Xbox 360 Games on Demand service does not offer the ability to pre-order games or make them available on launch day. That being said, we will be making GTAV available via Games on Demand as soon as it's technically feasible and permitted by Microsoft."

No, Game is basically the European Gamestop, even though in Europe, they have both stores. Game seems to be more popular though.

I didn't know that. Cool. I hope I can get mine pretty early. I pre-ordered my copy Last November from Gamestop.

It's unrealistic but I think it's the right way to do it, you would spent 90% of your time trying to escape the police if it was realistic and as I know from MCLA that gets frustrating.

Ya one of those cool to try but probably awful for fun. Having to drive slow everywhere would make me go insane lol.

Sometimes it's over-sensitive too. I can just be squeezing in between traffic and scrape along side and get a wanted level, or on the flip side, ram the cop at 40mph and they don't even care.

Something I would like to see return to GTAV from GTASA is the civilians getting into police chases.
While it didn't mention if they were chasing someone, 1 preview did mention 2-3 cop cars speeding by where the player was randomly.

Because it's being a vigilante. :p

Quite far from the point there..
PSN has the option available, XB doesn't. That's it.

I'll still prolly buy it from a physical store myself too. (for better price)

Does anyone have the price(s) from PlayStation Network? I would like to see if it might've been cheaper to get it there...

On friday, in case of Europe. :)

$59.99

Not sure what that would translate to in Denmark currency. :dunce:
334.75 Danish Kroner?

It's actually cheaper compared to where I preordered it, by $19 :grumpy:!
Though I guess the price'll always be higher here... Even on the PlayStation Network.

($19 is about 106 DKK.)

Anyway, thanks :D.

I'd happily take straight conversion to € by todays rates from that. :)

But I'm guessing it'll be 60€ then. Still tempting actually. Lowest I could get elsewhere would be no more than 5,- lower.

Say that to need for speed most wanted at £60!! I got mine for £25 about 6 months ago.

Well i'm talking fresh new releases. Obviously over time, the in store price may drop buy the ps store won't

You're also allowed to drive at over 200km/h in the crowded downtown streets, run red lights, drive against the traffic and cause huge pile-ups... but as soon as you make a slight dent on a cop car, you're in a world of trouble, young man. :sly:

That's what you call GTA Logic or is it GTA politics?.... I don't know. :sly::lol:

But I'm going on EFLC later to mess around, gotta start some chaos in the East later on. I know, I'm a baaaaaadddd man.

I remember when a cop breaks a car's window and unlocks it just to chase you down. A bigger lol is when they jack a car with someone driving it when they get desperate.

That's Johnny's Law Style right there.

This. I want to enforce the law in these whacked cities where anything goes wrong. I feel like Cartman when I roll on those dangerous, deranged and chaotic streets. These so-called "innocents" play with the main cops, but they have a alternative side to them. So, gotta get dirty on the streets.

That's why I play Vice and San Andreas a lot for, Vice Squad or for SA, Santos Undercover, Fierro's Law and Ventura Justice..... Now I need to get a theme song.

And is anyone ordering GTAV online at Gamestop? If you do, do you get it early? I'm gonna order online later, so can someone give me any tips? Thanks. :)

Scared to think of how many GB's Grand Theft Auto V will take up!! :scared:

I believe the install on PS3 is around 8GB, I think Rockstar announced it on Twitter a while ago. It isn't too bad, the worst thing about the size for me will be the time spent waiting for it to install.

He probably wondered how much space this digital version will take up.
