Because GTA makes a satire out of everday life, and sex is a big part of our modern day culture, whether you realize it or not. Especially in LA.

No it just recreates what is already there. You can choose to ignore it just like you would in real life.

Yeah I can ignore the strip clubs and cut scenes I suppose.
As much as I like GTA there's always going to be something you disagree with because R* try and recreate a place in a satirical way.

GTA 5 is waiting for download for US psn users, but it's locked for play. Very weird. You can download but you cannot run it.

So a million people don't download it at the same time, imagine how long it would take if everyone tried to download 18GB on launch day.

It's all really depends from your Internet speed. Could be slow, could be fast.

And the side effect is that cfw users would probably find a way to launch it and play it before us mortals and decent people.

It's more about Sonys bandwidth. Imagine the infrastructure required to provide hundreds of thousands (possibly millions) of simultaneous downloads of 17GB+ without shutting down or slowing to a crawl for everyone regardless of the quality of their connection.

Plus the other/user benefit is that the game is ready to go at release.

Yes I understand that.
That's the one main thing I don't like about R* games is the sexual content.
Why is it required?
It doesn't add anything more to the experience apart from'ewww' and 'yuck'.
I understand a reference like on a soap opera or something.
I could ask the same thing about all the cussing & drug use the ESRB describes. Why does Rockstar allow you to kill random, innocent pedestrians when none of the missions really require it unless a specific target is revealed instead of like Midnight Club where they run away & disappear?

It's there because it adds to the world Rockstar has created. Almost nothing is off limits to Rockstar.

Is it possible for anyone to post the info, as I (still) can't access their site :boggled:?

Did you fill out the age thing when you first enter the website as being over 18? If not, you'll have to clear your cache and do it again.

(Assuming your problem is that you entered your age as being under 18)

That 'screen' is fake- It's a photoshopped screencap from a trailer. Besides, look at all the weapons he's already got!

I do believe that in game image is fake. Apparently that image was compiled by taking various other images from trailers.

Looks like it, Franklin's shadow compared to the car's shadow should have been a giveaway. The sun light is coming from opposite directions.

I'm showing all of the songs have been blacked out...

Highlight them. ;) I've been trawling around and I've found many more on that site and gta forums. Apparently we'll have over 200 vehicles, the thing is though some people might be taking advantage of this situation and posting false info. Apparently it has been streaming on ustream via RockstarInformer but the stream is no longer on.

So far, only the radio stations have been found. Beyond that, I've seen a couple of these guys admitting that the game is missing files.

GooD-NTS have now told me that the game cannot be cracked and he is the only person you can trust

- New RPF7. Looks like RPF6 from RDR but something is different.
- Audio format (.AWC) is same like in Max Payne 3 and RDR as we expected.
- All real RPF archives in containers (part*.rpf). I think in PC version we will have real RPFs not part*.rpf.
- At the current time no one can play the game or get encryption keys.

Classy R*, real classy

The game won't be opened before September 17th... That's great, in my opinion :D.
Well, leaks may be inevitable. They just won't be coming from the pre-loader. However, since the audio files are about the only thing found, there are cutscene audio files now being posted. Definitely not going to listen to those, though.

Is it possible to receive a Disc pre-order early? I've been waiting for nearly a year.

In my experience, if a company suggests that you will receive your order on release day, then they will post it out to you to receive it on release day and it may arrive a day early, or in some cases, two.
However, the release date is September 17th, which is a Tuesday, and therefore it will either be posted on the Saturday before (14th), and I may get it on the Monday (16th) or they will post it on the Monday, and then it's in the lap of the postie gods as to whether it arrives on Tuesday the 17th, or on any day after that, if it arrives at all.

It's easy to see how it is such a big deal to some of us, and we can get lost in the hype surrounding the release that it becomes such an important thing to actually have the title on the 17th, that we forget that to a lot of people, it's just the day that yet another game came out.
It's not such a big deal to them.
It'll get delivered when it gets delivered.

I'm fairly confident that everyone who pre-ordered GTAV will be playing it before the weekend of the 20th of September.......

:irked:👍

With deliveries, chances are more likely to arrive on the day of release, or even unfortunately, a day later rather than a day early.

But, these things are usually setup in a way that the items arrive at whatever warehouse/office that handles your area a day before, so the drivers can start getting them out the next morning.
