If you can upgrade your bike skill to prevent you from falling off...

[…]

That would be very nice!

I expect you can jump off high buildings and land without any damage, on a bike, like in IV. It is kind of funny actually .

I've never done that, but LargeFarva on youtube did an incredible backflip onto a police car... and lived... without using mods. I believe he was on the XBOX 360 version.

PROFANITY WARNING!

If you land just right in any of the GTA's you are fine. I used to jump off the mountain in SA on bicycles and be alright lol.

Missions:
  • "Derailed" involves Trevor chasing a train of cargo on a dirtbike (All you had to do was follow the damn train Trevor).
This brings back some memories "ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS FOLLOW THE DAMN TRAIN, CJ!"

Not sure if this info is new.

-Masks, glasses and such can be equiped from an inventory menu.

-You will have mission playlists if you choose to enter them - or you can just jump into Free Roam mode.

-There will be everything from 2-player missions on up to full-blown 16-player quests.

-Several tennis courts dot Los Santos, while the city contains one 18-hole golf course. The golf mini-game can accomodate [up to] a foursome.

-There are movies to watch at theaters, and in Online up to 16 players can pack a theater.

-You will be able to deposit your money through ATM, in addition to using Debit cards.

-You can take a shower at your apartment.

-There is a Make it Rain button to use at the strip club. You will also be able to touch the girls during private dances, but if you get caught three times you will be tossed out on the street.

This is the problem with a Tuesday release date. Send out on a Friday and people will be playing on Saturday, 3 days before release so they won't want that. Sending out on a Saturday is really a no go so Monday is the only option left and some people will sadly suffer because of that.
I don't think the problem is with the usual Tuesday release for games, but Rockstar fighting any more leaks by keeping all the copies in the warehouses. If they hadn't made the request, people probably wouldn't be getting the game later than usual.

It's really just thanks to the stupid pre-load mishap. :indiff:

Speaking of stunts and vehicles ported to GTAV, I hope Sanchez will be on GTAV (pretty sure I've seen it in a GTAV trailer)

Don't worry. It's back. It will always come back. It's one of the iconic vehicles of the series. They can't just leave it out.

Ha! I got my copy of Gran Turismo 5 three days before the official release date from a supermarket. Pretty smart business decision because everyone was rushing there to get a copy. Hope they'll pull that stunt again with GTA V.

Rockstar, along with a few other companies always try to stop copies going out early so this was always going to be the case. Here in the UK games are usually released on a Friday, so online shops will usually be allowed to send them out on a Wednesday, to allow time to reach everyone by release. Some will get the game on Thursday but companies don't seem to mind that, probably because they only got the game one day early.

With a Tuesday release they won't allow their games to be posted before the weekend as they don't want people playing 3 days before the release as the retail stores will not be happy with this at all as they will lose out.
Therefore they are held until Monday and while most will still get the game on the release date some people won't and will complain about it everywhere.

Maybe in future worldwide release games should come out on a Wednesday or something.

I remember I did so, as well, in SA
12 very long days.

You've even got less time left, compared to most of us .

Every new bit of information that I see for this, just makes me want it even more. September 17th, hurry the **** up!

Just quickly going back to Rockstars Sept. 16th shipping request, I've been thinking that perhaps there is more to this than meets the eye.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking but perhaps there is something massive that R* has been keeping under wraps all of this time, and they don't want this being leaked before release? Don't know what it could be, it's most likely nothing but it does seem a bit strange that they have sent this request out, as it's the first time I've ever heard a statement like this from a gaming company.

Like I said, it's probably wishful thinking but I wouldn't put it past them.👍

Couldn't it be because Rockstar wants the game(s) to arrive to, the costumer(s), on the 17th ?

Activision made a similar request regarding COD, ShopTo are now refusing to sell COD Ghosts.

Probably because every game case will contain Saints Row IV. That would be the biggest trolling mankind has ever seen.

Pre-ordered my copy today at Sainsburys, I spoke to the man and he said they receive a fixed number of copies upon release date. So say 1000 copies, whoever has pre-ordered a copy at that store they get theirs reserved, so say 200 people pre-order then only 800 will be on sale to the general public.

In other words I'm pretty much guaranteed GTA 5 on release day :D I bloody hope so anyway.

So those who haven't pre-ordered yet, and really want it on release day, pop down to your local supermarket and do what I've done 👍

I live in a rural area near a walmart. No need for me to pre-order. All I have to do is head to walmart around 5am in the morning and claim my copy (same process done every GTA release).

See the countdowns are unfair, I have to wait until 6pm onwards to play, providing it actually gets delivered on release day! :grumpy:
