Correction: I will not be able to race this weekend. Just looked at the baseball schedule and the game I am going to starts at 4:15pm, not 6:40 like they usually do. See you guys next week at Monza. 👍

@Snow, questions be answered saturday in the race preview.

Aston is only 0.2 slower than the Ford around Suzuka East (where I test setups). ;)

Aston was at 483bhp, I don't know if you decided on 483 or 493 in the end.

EDIT: Ran the Corvette there and it's right in the middle of the Ford and Aston.

Once I get some good setups for the Lotus and Ferrari, I'll run them at Le Mans and see their laptimes and fuel use.

I'm not sure whether I can show up for Monza, my dad's trying to get tickets for the British GP! :D

Just gonna say I won't be racing, neither will Dax, Carb, or Conbon as my car got impounded by french courts :P

I knew you would crop up at opportune time :p

(Lotus LMP2 cars been impounded by french courts tonight ahead of Le Mans)

Add my Ford to the list of impounded cars for the first 2 rounds.

I believe it was 493bhp Joe

I'll probably try both when I do the Le Mans testing. I know Furi had suggested 493 as a compromise between 483 and 502, but the OP is unchanged.

There are quite a few Evora and 458 setups that I need to sort through before I run their tests. Luckily I won't need to spend more than 5 minutes on a setup since Suzuka East (where I test) is short.

TBH, even if we can only get General Admission tickets, I wouldn't mind.

I wouldn't mind if I could at least watch it with binoculars from far away :unlucky:
I wish I could move from this hell hole :depressed:

[edit]
Hopefully you will be able to attend the race :) 👍

Total Le Mans Fest this weekend.

Le Mans on TV, GTE and WSC both at the circuit this weekend. Excellent :)

It's no wonder Johny's car smelled like penguins!

Ok, what on earth do I need to update? Entries, 1 Aston left. Need to do a preview and track info. I'll get them done, i;m pretty much clear after tomorrow to focus with this.

Like I said I have done the tables so thats all good.

I've started my Le Mans testing. All cars had full aero, good setups, and were fully worn in. Fuel numbers are without saving or drafting.

Ford GT- 4:08.8, top speed of 180mph. Used 26-27L over 4 laps. Will need to refuel around 95-103L in a 30 lap dry race. Has the 3rd best handling.

Ferrari 458 Italia- 4:08.1, top speed of 179mph. Used 29-30L over 4 laps. Will need to refuel around 118-125L in a 30 lap dry race. Has the best handling.

Lotus Evora- 4:08.5, top speed of 181mph. Used 27-28L over 4 laps. Will need to refuel around 103-110L in a 30 lap dry race. Seems to handle worse than the 458 now that they both have setups on.

Aston and Corvette will be done tonight or tomorrow.

Very surprised at Ferrari's fuel consumption. You reckon its going to be two stops for everyone?

I'd say yes. Both Akmuq and myself know where the Vantage is at concerning fuel and tyres.

All my days. Just wait until you take the Vantage down the Mulsanne Straight. I got 186mph at 501BHP. Not tested it since it had a 10BHP reduction. Fuel consumption looks somewhere inbetween the 458 and the Evora.

Now that I'm not racing this weekend I can divulge my strategy. I was going to make 2 stops, one on the start of lap 11, then another on the start of lap 21. Somewhere around 68 liters per stop? Will have to double check my notes. I did a mock stint and used around 75 liters by the end of lap 10.

Anyway, we know the lap count for Monza yet?
