I was testing Monza in the rain last night, set at 75% with a change of 5 and 50% surface water to start, and after 5 laps or so it stopped raining and the sun came out.
It is round 1 of the GTE series, and we start on 24 Hour weekend at La Sarthe. Its looking very close all around, and there is a strong entry, despite the abscense of R1600 (Corvette), CnD (Ford), and a final Aston Martin.
RACE START PROCEDURE.
1 Pace lap @ 70mph / 112kph. Single file formation.
At the exit of "Karting" chicane (Kilometre 12 mark), slow to 40mph and form up double file for the start. ODD numbers on the right, EVEN on the left.
Green flag from whenever the leader crosses the line - the whole field can begin racing. 2hr timer begins from there.
CAUTION PROCEDURE
In case of a MULTI-CAR accident (3-4 vehicles upwards) , a caution may be called over mic or by typing "caution" in chat - all drivers must do this before I confirm the caution over mic.
Race back to the next sector, from there the leader slows to 70mph and the field slow and form up single file behind. Green flag is single file, from one of two restart points, either the START FINISH line or the sector at the 8 KILOMETRE mark.

So I won't be leaving for the baseball game until 3pm my time. The race should be over and the race room closed by 2:25pm my time, so I may just be able to make this as long as there are no delays. So if there's room, I can probably still make it.
If you guys see me go wide at Tetre Rouge on the parade lap, its not an error. I;m going there as a fly by tribute to Alan Simonsen, Aston Martin driver who died at Le Mans there today.
