40 minutes to Qualifying.

Wrong thread

Me? No, I DC'd out of the lobby, just letting you know I was fixing it. Switched to wired connection.

Just 7 in so far. Come on everyone :p

Just realised I don't have the DLC for the Aston Martin. Lol that's a fail.

I suppose I'll have to find something else.

:(. came out of the pits with RPH and jet, had some lag on the straight and hit the wall. Made it round to the pits, was just about to type hoping for a caution now, then realised my pit crew had finished, rushed to exit chat box and pressed o again accidentally , then ended up in the lobby :(

Got disconnected 5 mins into the race, was looking forward to it as well

3 stops in first hour, flying up through field, up to 9th and 3rd in class with 30 min left, on old tyres spun at first chicane, damage, no steering. Hit brakes for Arnage, or I can't make it around, Buraspo hits me, in gathering it up I hit Buraspo off. Car totalled.

*facepalm* I had no idea I had another lap to do after the 2 hour mark. I thought that once I crossed the line after 2 hours had elapsed, I had to pull over. To add insult to injury, I ran out of fuel coming out of the Porsche Curves, but so had Carb and I managed to overtake him.

incredible race guys , I had so much of batlle tonight with almost half of pack lol, I hope you liked it too , see you in some other races.

Fantastic Race Gents.

Very close racing with buraspo on more than 1 occasion.

Well at the start someone (or multiple people) jumped the start behind me and I got run over, received damage in the process, and went off track trying to hang on to it. Needless to say by the time I got to turn one I was in dead last. Got most of them back in the first stint but during the first stop had to make a personal pit stop and lost a lot of time.

Pushed hard for the last couple stints and was able to salvage a good finish, even if I did go off trying to stay under 1 minute off the leaders.

Looking forward to Monza.

What a brilliant race that was. Start was ok, got off in 6th and managed to hang onto the train that was pulling away pretty early on. Kept in the back of the group in 5th most of the time, because even kartman wasn't able to break away, so I figured noone would. Towards the end of my first planned stint suddenly I found myself in 2nd when kartman, jet and RPH pitted. Smuffy and I continued. I probably stayed out 1 lap too long (11), but I was in a good rhythm, so I wanted to use that a little longer.

When I came out of the pits I couldn't believe my eyes though, when I saw that I was 24 seconds behind (RPH I think) in 5th or 6th. Apparently it was a combination though of a) them taking on less fuel where I had filled my tank to the brim, and b) the Ford needing a lot less fuel to begin with. I managed to keep the gap between 20 and 22 seconds in that second stint and ran into Smuffy (not literally), who I would battle all the way towards the end as it would turn out. Then RPH and Jet pitted and I came in after 10 laps just ahead of Smuffy. We both took on a similar load of fuel, but he came out of the pits a little ahead of me.

At that point I was still 14 seconds behind. In the last stint, Smuffy, Jet and I formed up a sort of train and we managed to reel in RPH little by little. With 1 hour 59 on the race clock, I managed to take the lead - RPH seemed to have some kind of problem. There was no way to shake Jet and Smuffy, so when we were on the last lap I just thought I had to try and be ahead going into the Porsche curves, so I took a slightly defensive line going into the first Porsche curve and also into the Ford chicane so as not to allow someone to pass on the inside.

Surely my best race in a long time, if not ever.

Think you got this one spot on Furi. 👍

To DK: No, I wasn't out of fuel, I basically gave up. One Lotus seat might open up for the remainder of the season, I'm so down after this, I just can't imagine bringing myself to race in this series again.

We all knew this was not a Lotus circuit, the likes of Fuji, Laguna Seca and Spa will be.

It was a fantastic race tonight - a great 3 way battle to the line with snow and smuffy. Had some earlier battles with RPH and gokartman, shame that they had their issues or there might have been 5 of us going for line. Congrats to snow for his win 👍

Looking forward to Monza.

my replay , pretty tough 3-4 cars battles

Oh, sorry about that. I saw you crawling around @ 80km/h, so I assumed you had given up.

I'll get standings done this week.

You asked me if I could do them in 30 mins, which I could!!!

I'll sort em out

Tell ya what, send me race result. Thats the bit that takes a while.

I'll get on with results, I need a break first. Just saying, GTE AM trophy is renamed the Allan Simonsen Trophy for obvious reasons.

Will the Aston stay at 493hp for Monza or get the original 503hp?

After its win at Le Mans is gonna be 493Bhp I recon.

I'll sort it, done WSC scores today, got a few small things to do, but results to follow + tech spec news.
