Yet each and everyone here would gawk at it and take a picture if they came across one in the wild.

Cool.

That's quite the assumption, do you have any evidence to back up this claim?

I might take a picture because I'd know it was probably the only time I anyone would be likely to come across one outside of Sheik's private collection, and like a biologist discovering a new type of dung beetle, I'd probably take a photo.

Doesn't make dung beetles cool.

If I happened upon this car in the wild, parked next to the Renault Sport Spider also up for voting, I'd spend more time looking at the Renault.

Couldn't agree more, I've got a hell of a lot more respect and admiration for someone building their own car than someone who bought a several Ferrari's and was a suck up to get the chance to purchase a car that doesn't look dissimilar to the far more common and accessible (Relative to this thing of course) 458 Italia.

Now an LP400? that's something I'd gawk at. Because it's timeless class.

This is ostentatious 1% snobbery and who finds that cool?

Clicking like on your posts doesn't cut it. I couldn't agree more with you guys and you couldn't be any more right.

Haven't got a single super car picture on my camera, despite hosting a super car photoshoot a few months ago, attending various car shows with super cars (I think I might have a Ford GT in Gulf livery... only took a picture for the Gulf livery, not the car) and attending various trackdays.

I do take pictures of classics, though. And sometimes utter rubbish, just for laughs.

A Renault Spider, though? I think I'd fall over myself trying to talk the owner into a drive and website feature. Which, I think, kind of seals my vote for the other thread...

Admittingly, If I saw one of these, I would look at it, maybe even take some pictures. If I was tossed the keys to one and was told I could take it to any track I want, I would say yes.

But that doesn't change my opinion on how extremely uncool I think the car is.

Seriously uncool. The 458 Italia was sub zero. Then they took the headlights from the 458 and stuck it on all their new Ferraris and made them look like nonsense. This LaLaLaLaFerrari being the most ridiculous piece of nonsense made.

And to top it off, Enzo Ferrari himself. He would pit the drivers against one another, and seemingly not care if one or both gets into a serious, possibly life-threatening crash. And the famous quote "Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines." is pure BS. If that was true, then why does The Breadvan exist?
Clean your mouth before talking about a Legend.

I'm waiting for Malaysia to see what they can bring to motorsport other than the death of Simoncelli.

1. @Azure Flare is totally correct. Ferrari was pretty ruthless in every regard. A breadvan is not exactly aero friendly in any case?

2. Malaysia boought a damn good track to the motorsports world.

Since it was made by Tilke I would remove the "damn good" part.

Really? Agreeing with another member who isn't on your side is provocation? I don't need translate for that.

Tilkes produced some good tracks. Istanbul, Malaysia, Red Bull Ring?

And in all honesty technical trickery aside, this car looks like it has been pinched in the nose for a long time and just doesn't have that same class that older Ferrari's exude. Uncool.

Well I like it. :P Not very Ferrari-like, but it's got that electric-combustion engine combo working for it like the P1, so it's one of the cars that are changing the way cars work.

Even if the body looks like a jet fighter's armpit. :D

What I mean is "Enzo Ferrari made a provocation when he said that". You should consider it for what it is. Basically he was just saying he was proud of his engines and prefer to achieve results through a great engine than great aero. Boldness.
Tilkes produced some good tracks.

The guy with a Ferrari logo as a profile picture gets a bit hostile when people talk about a dead guy who, by all accounts, was an enormous ass whose pride often brought defeat to his race team.

Shocking.
Yep, that's one of the reasons why Ferrari fans love Enzo Ferrari.
Winning is not everything it's HOW you win that make you a Legend.
A lot anger of Ferraris? Why can't we just be happy about the big overpriced monsters?
Because it's made by the most famous, envied and hated by anglo saxons Manifacture in the World.

I like Ferrari's cars, but I don't like Ferrari as a manufacturer, they try to control everything, and here's one of the reasons why, it's an old article that I'm sure many of you have read but, it just disgusts me how Ferrari works, I think @HKS racer needs to read this though, it probably wont change his biased opinion on Ferrari.

What was really irrelevant for people like Enzo was winning without being consistent with himself.
I know it's hard to understand for some people.

Nothing wrong with being yourself, and forging some success out of it. I don't think anybody said there was anything wrong with it.

But it's fair game to point out that the self he was so proud of being was kind of an 🤬

What I find hard to understand is where you're going with this.

A racing teams primary goal is to win, winning is kind of important in a race. "Being yourself" (In this case a massive asshat) doesn't exactly matter.
