At the end of the post#1 there is a PDF file attachment that you can download: GrimeyDog 10.0 v#3 TF 75_RAC 0.75

That file along with the video I posted earlier give a good set-up for your wheel.

http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/sh...hort-Telemetry-Videos-and-what-FFB-tweek-used

If anyone is interested, tomorrow, I can open a room and I will be available to explain how to.
Just let me know and I will set a time suitable to you.

Hey mate i will be available from 14.00 UK 09.00 EST

Hi men, while digging thru old seasonal threads looking for tune tips I stumbled on a post by TRL-BEAU of himself driving the Peugeot 905 EVO at LaSarthe to a 3:03 lap. My thought while watching - "Well I'll be a $$&@@!! He's not an alien after all,, just a young dude who is VERY good playing this wonderful game!" 👍👍.

No fancy seat or full on GT cockpit - just a small monitor, his gear anchored to a small table and a real good feel for playing the game.

Scroll down to post #210 I think:

Geezers yesterday i spent an afternoon on Project Cars with @oldboy1943.

He gave me a wheel setup which worked extremely well with the G29 if you click on the link in his post you will find it at the bottom of the post.

With all this in mind i had the best days racing in cars which felt like they were on a real track.
I will not be on the ps3 now, moving to ps4 and p cars.
There will be a room open on Saturday at 14.00 UK 09.00 EST on PS4.

Invites will be sent for those who log on to PS4.

:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

Thanks very much Stewy for hosting the Saturday races these last many months . I'll miss them but until this ol boy gets the G29 currently on my "Wish List" (but not in my hands yet) I'll not be with you fellas in the PCars game,, yet. My kids have warned me - "Don't YOU DARE buy that wheel!". A sly grin tells me the wheel is coming. Anyway, you guys have a good time, learn all the ins and outs of the game and as soon as I can I'll join yas. 👍👍

Aug 19 - For those of us who have the PS4 and the game,, I've been studying YouTube and find there's so, so much more involved in playing PCars than we had to learn playing the GT series,, WOW!! Perhaps it's only that we've been playing GranTurismo for so many years the learning was pretty easy because we knew how the game works, but this Project Cars is an entirely different animal! If you have the console and the game but like me are missing the wheel I suggest opening the game and commencing the ardious (sp??) tasks of learning what makes this one work. First task, how to make the controller work. YouTube has a great many videos that help us figure out how to get to the settings and how to set the doggoned thing up so we can at least keep the car heading in the general direction of the others on the race track. Nope, I'll not be joining our buds in a private room until I can figure out how the microphone, ear bud work. That's a task in and of itself!! Anyway, I'll be joining you Pepper and whomever else is online for the GEEZER racing this Saturday. Lets hope we can have some of the others join us and have some fun! GEEZERS RULE!!

Hi - I had been trying to run a fast lap using active steering on strong. I tried "mild" and did better, but when I moved to "off" the car turned and handled much better. Within 3 or 4 laps I had run the fast lap. I suppose we should always try without active steering. I think with more power upgrades, it may be that active steering needs to be used for us Geezer types.

Very sorry to see you go Stewy, hope to catch up with you in the future. Drop in on us from time to time when you feel like slumming in PS3. Would you mind if we continued hosting PS3 events in the club for those of us that don't have PS4's?

Carry on with Saturday's mate you never know i may join you one Saturday.

Clubroom will be here until they switch servers off.

Mots events:

Monza - The same car (BMW McLaren F1 GTR race car '97) move slider to 100% power still no oil change. This gives 630PP 602HP weight 950Kg. All other settings at default except brake balance can be changed. - I still find Active steering off to be best.

Willow - Same car (Ford RS200 '84) Slider to 100% power, still no oil, and do all weight reductions giving 439PP, 246HP and 1092 Kg. All other settings default except brake balance can be changed.

Thanks bud, hadn't thought of trying that - will do it and see just how much better I can do.

PS4 Project Cars room will be open tomorrow for those who want to have ago.

I believe Pepper will open a Gt6 room tomorrow so there is a choice.

Happy racing wherever you are.

Yes Stewy, I'll open a room at 8:30 AM Eastern for those who want to continue the Saturday morning meetings. I'm thinking the McLaren stock is a very versatile car and we could use it on different tracks. PMallard

I must have screwed up the post since the note didn't show as a response. Duce and I did the McLaren at Monza for an hour or so.

GT sport only in 2017:D
Maybe I don't wait and go to PC
I see your point, I have to get a new wheel and a PS4 to make the change, but I would have to do the same thing for GTS, so why wait. Didn't want to learn a new game knowing I'd likely stop when GTS comes out, but it could be another 6 months or more.
