Amar, I have one question if you could clarify for me?

You compared the physics to Prologue and to the TT demo, but I'm having a hard time understanding exactly. Are you saying they are not as easy as Prologue, but not as hard as the TT Demo, so somewhere in-between?

Haven't you played any of the public demos? It's different from both. The tyre model feels more progressive than in the TT, and more connected to the road than Prologue. Plus weight transfer is better than both, so if you brake and turn at the same time you will lose it

I've played the recent demo, and love the physics. But am thinking they are not the same...

Hey man, I didn't see your opinion of the demo physics, what did you think? Why do you think they may be different?

Hi great stuff!!!!

But:

If you change the ride height in the settings does it effect the visual ride height in game like other GT's? Same with Camber, can it be visually seen? Hehe

Is the car tuning in depth as in parts etc.

Thanks again.

Just want to thank you amar, for your patience to share with us such a complete review. I really appreciate that 👍. I'm not going to ask you anything though. I'll let you highlight the most notable things you noticed.

Thanks Amar for that detailed impressions of the physics department, much apreciated! Can i just ask if you had experience with other racing simulations, or just with the GT series? and how does it compare to them if you had?
👍

AS with others I would really like to thank you Amar for taking the time to give us this excellent write up. It is truly appreciated :)

Dear Amar,

Can you please throw up some negative comments of some sort? I know, it sounds crazy, but there are a few people who are now ignoring your updates because they're TOO positive.

Thanks!

You mean things like

"This game is a time sink since it's simply impossible to put down."

"The graphics are so life like I too often forget I am playing a game."

;)

Do Paddle shifters work on the g25 if it has them? I have the g27 and was hoping at times and 7spd cars, I can use them since my H-pattern shifter only goes to 6th gear. Thanks!

Amar,
Thanks for the current feedback. Does GT5 have different settings for the damage while driving standard or premium cars? Most of the videos I have seen posted show that the cars can take an outstanding amount of hits and crashes before damage shows up at all. Is it different if you have all the crash settings adjusted to the highest settings??

I wounder if the controls are the same, X for throttle and Square for braking? I cant drive with the trigger buttons because I get pain in my hands :(
If the standard is the triggers, is it possible to change the controls?

Does the clutch has the same glitch as in GT5P? i mean that you can gas while clutching and so you are faster? i don`t hope so it would be so unfair against the ones with the driving force GT/Pro.

 WHAT A LONG AND MOST VIEWED THREAD!!!

Seriously Amar: will the prize cars (other than license prize cars) be Premium-only, or will Standards also be the prize car?

Thanks before, and sorry for CAPS LOCK in the first paragraph. :)

I am very certain that if you lower a car in the settings, it will be represented visually when you see the car.

Yeah you will be able to change it.

I have seen sparks coming from underneath a car because of it bottoming out, so I think this means you will be able to see the difference in ride height.

Hey, is it possible to drive the Red bull X1 prototype straight away?

And if not how much stuff do you have to do before you can drive it?

One of the first things i want to do is go take that car round nurgbrugring f1 track and try and beat Vettel's time...

Hey man, I didn't see your opinion of the demo physics, what did you think? Why do you think they may be different?

From what I've seen, the Professional physics in Arcade mode in GT5 are different from A-Spec mode. (according to people playing it) I think the public demo is based off of the Arcade physics, which I think are pretty good on their own.

So if the A-Spec physics are a bit harder, I'm wondering how hard. (I didn't really like parts of the TT demo physics)

Tell as something about track is there any surprise maybe Spa or some other track...?? :) Pozdrav iz Beograda

GT is usually X & Square, but if it is R2 & L2, the remapping system of GT is good enough and will be hassle free remapping.

Good Enough! Since I learned this trick on GT4, right analog for accel/brake... this way you can handle the throttle and brake correctly :P

Just don't want to read this, it spoils a lot of the fun of discovering all those things but still can't resist gotta read it all:P
