the clutch in my opinion is just a little improved over GT5P. It still feels like a ON/OFF but not as bad as in previous GT. There is a tiny slipping point, but not anywhere close to real life.

Regarding Tuning, didnt tune the clutch yet, however, changing the exhaust to a titanium racing exhaust changes alot!

You first of all get a much better and orgasmic sound from your car, and surprised as i was, you can feel the torque much better!

And also visually you can tell that the car has a modded exhaust 👍

Chris when you install a racing muffler can you actually see it on the car or does the exhaust pipe not change visually? Be interesting to know if it changes on both Standards and Premium or just the latter?

EDIT: Silly me didn't read your post properly but can you see if the exhaust changes on the standard cars?

That kind of sucks that some of the standard model cars have terrible textures. I wonder how long it would have taken them to redo all the standard car textures. hmmmmmmm

yea, some std cars look amazing, really great, and some cars you can see the bad texture. The opel tigra for example is also a great looking std car, and so is the peugeot 206 rc, but the mercedes A class... looks a little 👎 but then again, so does it in real life :sly:

Hmm, that's weird. When I saw the standard Berlinetta, I was thinking to myself "That actually doesn't look too bad". Then you say "It looks terrible" lol.

I guess its hard to see the low resolution textures through youtube quality video. The model itself seems pretty good though?

well the car looks ok, but if you look closely, like in photomode, you can tell a huge differents between bad std cars and good std cars, the physics though are amazing on all cars 👍

one word: FRIGGIN AWESOME, cape ring and eiger K trial are so far the most amazing original tracks!

I hope i can unlock Eiger K trial soon, to show you guys cause OH MY LORD, best track so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you cant imagine the steep hills ... wow!!!!

I've noticed something odd.. some of the language is different. Looking at these videos (GT Auto in particular) the Paint Items are called.. Paint Items. But looking at E5Ridez' videos, they are called 'Paint Chips'. And the Used Cars that have just arrived are described as 'Just In' in E5Ridez videos, whereas in these they are called 'New'. Hmm, odd.

Probably you can select between American (English) and English (English). :)

I know standard cars have no cockpit view and no windscreen wipers.
My question:
are we able to switch on/off headlights and high beam when we race at night with standard cars or are headlights automatically on?

he has already shown this, like twice I think with his mx-5.

Good job on the commentary chris, we all like it lol.

The reason the shadows seem glitchy and rough and moving is just how the ps3 handles fast shadows. There are more important things to render. You can have nice shadows if you want 10 fps and lower res I''m afraid.
 
Yep seems you bought the new exhaust without being needed to be prompted.

Looking foreward to seeing the visuals of the MX5 having it's stilts cut down to size with the suspension kit and that titanium drainpipe sticking out the back which hopefully sounds really good as well, most of all hearing how the mods have effected the physics will be a huge chunk of information for us all!

haha thanks, its not like that i love at home, but my GT5 rig is over at my parents place :D

these coming weeks, my parents will be very happy that im spending so much time over at theirs haha :D

First of all, awesome videos Chris! Thanks for the hard work.

One question though regarding the rim/car painting. This may have already been answered, but I noticed when you painted your mx-5 wheels, you only had the one color available...and it was the same as your car. I also noticed the number available or something to that extent was set to one.

Now does that mean you can only paint a car or a rim that color once, and then it's gone from your "paint database", or does it stay there? And is the only way to get new colors is from buying cars of a certain color? Thanks again, would appreciate the answer to this.
 
Chris or ANYONE that knows, what happens if you get all gold right away on the licence test? Do you miss out on the bronze and silver prize cars?

Also if you get the bronze prize car can you then get the silver and gold?
