I gues I am :lol: Thanks, got it. I have seen it ages ago but just somehow though it must have been the logger. When is the maintanance going to end!! :D

Have realised a tonne of turns that I brake on where you really don't need to. The first few sectors on the Nordschleife - that fast right to start with very early on, then the double-right you can just give a slight lift (I've been braking and taking it at 135 before!) - then the super fast left over the crest you can lift + potentially shift up to 5th if it's looking bad - and then the fairly fast left in 5th further down - lift, lift and dont brake!

This lap is so messy and had some pretty woeful overshoots that cost a tonne of time. Should be able to do quite a lot better.

Just run some of the seasonal events. Knock out both seasonal TT's, you should be able to gold on the first lap, and that should be worth at least 1 million total, and that's if you don't have any login bonus days.

I believe from a prior post that it costs about 2.5 Million credits.

That's where I have gained all of my overall time. Being much braver, then I tap brakes in a corner I know I don't have to, and it screws me back up. But that first fast right hander will kick you in the head too if your line Is just a touch off. I usually take the other one in sixth at 160 or so.

Price is Cr1.5m, but of course you can't do the seasonals until the maintenance is finished.

I got a mail from Fanatec 2 days ago saying that my wheel should be here today. I got it today but haven't had the time to test it yet. You could say lucky but then it's only relatively...
I'll definitely try this combo tomorrow.👍

Thanks Lucas, I really enjoy this layout. It reminds of the great roads I used to run down in the Smokey Mountains on my sport bike. Not quite as tight as the "Dragons Tail" but awesome in its own right.

Latest splits.

Slightly slower thru T9, but much improved on the back end. Don't get to run the last sectors nearly as much,
I reset 75% of the laps before I get there. Feeling better thru there now.

Pretty happy with this lap, think I've got maybe one second total left in me.:crazy:

This car is awesome!
i hope to have more time to run during weekend after some rest, will hit 60hour this week at the job :scared:

did a quick another session, lost my focus quickly but still improved total laptime wich is always good! not totaly happy about the sectors i normaly dont have problem with but i missed some of them during this lap :(

Finally got a chance to get a good look at this. I see I have a alot of work to do. Unfortunately I don't have as much time as I would like.

We just closed on a 110 year old house that we're now remodeling so we can move in asap. That's a good thing, but will probably hurt my WRS handicap.

Never ran much on the GP part, I will have to work harder on those first three sectors. I've known the Nordschleife since GT4, though, especially because of that dreadful Mission 34, as someone else mentioned.

mike_gt3: yes, it's those gear ratios that confuse Fetchy, others post them without the period.

I'm not sure I'm going to get much more time and be able to get a real competitive lap though. Online Racing Marathon on Saturday plus my wheel is completely braking down at the moment. Right paddle refuses to shift at times (getting more frequent) and it cost me pretty dearly in this lap. Brake is sticking more regularly at 2-5% now too. 👎 Unless I can perform some emergency repairs not sure I can justify running an 8 minute lap only to have it blown by a sticky paddle or brake.

Having said that even if I had a good working wheel I feel lost once I get beyond the carousel and really don't know the remainder of the track very well. Good reason to learn it though.
