Starting to get a measure of this frisky little pony now.
Good split time ⌚
Is the HP supposed to be 345 or 354? My stock car says 354
Changed the brake balance which helped. Ran 2 TCS as impossible to get it going in a straight line without.
It's a typo mate...354 is correct i'll fix the Op now
Cool, thanks Mike! I had a feeling it was, but... gotta make sure
After 25 miles...
Definitely see some areas that I can gain some time. Fun car when you get used to it. Nice combo!
Got a digit missing
Oh crap, I logged off too... I am going to take the high number
BB -3 TC 0
The 4th and 5th corner onto the back straight can be taken flat if you hit it just right. Gaining a bit of time heading to the last corner.
Using 3rd gear for the first corner then 2nd for the second corner and then back to 3rd for the third corner.
Love driving this car...
That tip on gearing seems to have worked
Helped me too! (but I'm still going to be bringing up the rear this week as this one has my number big time in the section before the "close your eyes and hold your breath" flat out part)
Certainly did help @Argon!
Just have to figure out the T1/T2 transition. And the rest of the lap!
Btw, TC 0 and BB -2
Those are the gears I used. Didn't have much time today. That T1 to T2 was getting me too. TC 0 BB -3
PBs in both sectors after a significant sample of laps so I'll be chasing this one for a while.
What a blast to drive!
Just a daily workout worth, but almost a second faster than my short session last night. Lots more to come.
First run at it. Can I say Pineapple
Fun and frustrating at the same time. Realize after reading these that I never adjusted my BB.
Slow S1 but decent S2
Hmm, I've been taking T1 in 2nd. Guess I'll give 3rd a go at some point. That fast right kink before the hairpin is fun. Currently not sure if it's faster muscling it through at full throttle, or keeping it straight by easing off a little. Made a small improvement in S1, but gained heaps in the last turn.
Updated splits. Took a nice chunk off my T1 but it was a mediocre last sector.
Improved a bit at the line. Still some time to find all over.
@ColinNZ If you can thread the needle, the uphill chicane is definitely faster full throttle.
Indeed, the key is the setup to it. You need to be following the best line. The right hander 2 corners before is the key, it sets you up to take the left kink almost straight taking a lot of curb which gives you the best line into the fast right so you can keep your foot planted
Second session and almost identical T1 but gained a little on the line.
Second session was still great fun, but I fear it'll get a lot tougher from here.
I don't know what to say about this combo, except things that'll make Enzo do backflips in his grave...
First 50km, couple of 0.5 improvements made in first run, lots left in this!
Starting to get a bit braver on some of the corners now & it’s paying off.
