There used to be such great tracks we have lost, including that one and the one of I remember right in gt3 that was a mix of snow and gravel.
Mmm can't remember :/ but I remember some of my all time favourites, El Capitan, Thaiti Maze, Chamonix from GT4 layout, half icy tarmac half snow, Amalfi Coast and Città d'aria.. one if the thing I want in GT7 is the comeback of all the lost tracks, if I have those I wouldn't mind standard cars!
Edit : Oh yeah, racing mods need to be back, and not the GT5 ones, I'm taking full GT1/GT2 style!

I agree wholeheartedly, this has to return

talking about the old GT's...there was this circuit that started in the GT1 but made a comeback in GT3...im talkin about one of the most painful circuits, the Special Stage Route...11. in GT1, the game had a certain curve known as the "left/right chicane" where the straightaway gets interrupted by this chicane and you have to move up quickly because if you crash in the middle, you lose your speed, and if you hit one of the corners, you lose the speed too. in GT3, the chicane was replaced by a long straightaway and a hairpin,, but the GT1 version is what they call it "the most hardest original track of Gran Turismo", passing Grand Valley because of the chicane and most of the curves are pretty sharp , making it harder (yes, its more harder if your car is high-powered, and add the fact that this track was in the All-Night endurance tests, which means drive for 1 hour and avoid crashing while you are trying to control your car and not crash into the chicane).

That one should return or at least if we ever the course maker, y try to recreate them.

SVX
Careful, that's a nono to mention around here.
EEEECH! didnt knew about it...well, lets just talk about the classic GT's...there's one of the most saddest cars of all the GT games...the Mazda Lantis. i mean, they appear in the endurance races against 6-900 hp cars and it just has like 350 hp. the other fact is that you can overtake it like 3 times in 5 laps, and the total could be like 10 or 15 times. here's the endurance Lantis in real life

But the best part about it, wanna know? Racing modifications! I had all kinds of race cars, JTCC Civic, Super GT R32, and my favourite, the N2 Levin, the car i started with, my favourite car of the whole game and most used one! I spent hours with it on the best track for touge, Grindewald, anyone remembers it? That track and an Hachi Roku were the best combo for me! Nostalgia take me with you!
man, im a fan of those too! did you know that the Mitsubishi 3000GT in Gran Turismo is Green in the race modification because of his real counterpart, the Super Taikyu Mitsubishi "Puma" GTO? but in the game, Puma is replaced by Castrol. the other thing are the Calsonic designs. that's why i bought the R32! they are totally beatiful. but there's one weird thing...a pink N2 Hachi Roku! that could be something like...like...Akane's N2 Hachi Roku (if you know what i mean ;) )

The attention to detail in the early games was staggering.

Best car for that was the escudo. You could fly^^
come to think about it, my GT-R R32 is the second fastest car in the game, being beaten by the Mitsubishi 3000GT (930 hp) and both can reach the 400 KM/H barrier :D

GT3 wheelie glitch, anyone?
In GT4 my Escudo with over 1100hp reached 490kph while on the rear wheels only  and what about the Toyota Minolta? 1200hp of pure madness! 670kph on two wheels!

I had a yellow and withe one  I guess that it depends on the model  if they bring all this stuff back there will be no hater strong enough to bring the game down :D
Miatas just look so human
Agree on that 👍

The answer to everything goes back to miata is the answer.

agh...guess what? i did one of the longest races in the videogames...of 1997. that's right. i did the 300 km of Grand Valley in the first Gran Turismo. lemme tell ya something about my experience: it was obviously a hard and exhaustive race in the same track for 60 laps with a 913 hp 1989 R32 that goes like a unstoppable rocket and add the tire wearing that made me spun out sometimes. after all the 60 laps...1 hour and 40 minutes of pain...i managed to get the 1st place. the reward was cool: 300.000 CR. have in count that in the game you can build a race car with just the 70% of the 300.000 CR. here's a pic of my champ, the Little R32 that could (dedicated to @ShinkaseiZero )
Yessir. THE genuine Godzilla. Each successor had failed to completely fill the 32's shoes haha. But still, nice one!
I agree gt2 was one of the best one's and if you got an r32 nothing could barely stop you that car was a god..
The car is so damn flexible...as we speak I'm building R32s in GT6 for just about every category I can think of: drift, rally, road circuit, drag, etc. If there's any one car that can truly dominate motorsports across a wide spectrum, it's the R.

wait...RALLY R32!? then i shall buy myself a 205 T16 Evo 2 (the most fastest hot hatch of all time)

Well i use an r33 for snow circuits.[cause it just looks so out of place there..] an 32 looks great, 34 eh.. but 33 is always a hoot in the snow [even if i can't control it]
