Halo model is a term applied to a top line model, normally by a manfacturer to (as has been said) showcase the best they have to offer. Its also not strange for a given manufacturer to have more than one Halo model. For example, you could argue that every BMW M-sport model or Mercedes Benz AMG model is a halo product for the cars that sit below it.
