How many credits did you buy?

Thanks to the VGT glitch I will never have to buy them. I also had to do very little of the career mode, I have every car I could ever want and still have many millions in the bank.

Sans the VGT Glitch, do you know a 25 minutes X1 Standard drive is producing 2 million Cr. worth 10 Dollars (am i right?)

I feel the credits on offer are too low and it's price is too high for anyone to really want to buy credits. 7mio credits for $100 (price from where I am) is a loss maker, you can earn an equivalent to that within one day of grinding with a 2x login bonus on a high-paying race event. Whereas in other video games like GTA Online, earning 1 million GTA$ will take a very long time, but it's microtransaction pricing and offer is great. $50 for $3.5mio, that may be expensive, but knowing how long it'll take to earn that much, you're better off with it. With that much money you can already afford a 2nd high-rise apartment and a couple more cars from the high-end market.

If GT6 wants, they can multiply the credits offered in the microtransaction package by x10 while keeping the price of the packages offered. You can buy yourself 10mio credits and people will be buying them. For now it's not getting my money.

If anyone is wondering why I buy into this stuff, I perceive these options as part of an arcade-style transaction method where you use real money to have a run in the arcade game machine. Besides I'm not a fan of it either.

Probably some millionaire somewhere with piss poor driving skills and no time for grinding might have bought some credits. I would say, it has been a massive success ;)

I actually enjoying the game, Just burned 7.5 mil to buy the classic ferrari. And now grinding happily in my SLS GT3 on GT3 event.

I was a player on DS that want just to win everything ( gt3 and gt4 ), but when I got proper steering wheels and seats....with 5.1 DTS audio, I just want to enjoy the game....I don't care losing the event anymore.

You'll credited by the game sheer quality :D

You have to be a millionaire to spend a handful of dollars on gaming?

No, 50mil for free tickled my fancy.

Only fools buy credits, FOOLS.

Even without modding, it's hilariously easy to earn credits now with seasonals etc.

I'm no fool and don't appreciate being called such just because I chose to do something in the game that you don't agree with. If you must know, the credits that I bought were for my granddaughters' account so that she could get the cars that she wanted. I did not have time, nor was I really thinking about it, to level up her account and grind for a bunch of cash for her. It was just quicker to buy the credits and be done with it. So, fool, hardly. I'm just someone who loves his granddaughter and enjoys watching her have fun with the game and I don't mind spending a little cash for her to do so.

I would THINK about buying credits IF PD gave me the things I wanted to play with.

If I had to pay for a Ferrari racecar pack, I would. With 8 Ferrari race cars, F430 GTC, 575 GTC, 330SP, F40 LM, etc.

I would pay, if I could buy tracks, Like Interlagos, Road America, VIR, Kyalami, Monaco.

The way the game is now? I don't even have motivation to earn the easy credits.

Unfortunately, I never did the VGT glitch before really getting into the game. I do grind on occasion and I will never buy credits. Ever.

I know, right. Some people can come up with the most stupid/ridiculous of assumptions...I swear.
I obviously exaggerated. I think, to buy credits you gotta be someone who certainly can afford wasting money. Because in my opinion is just wasting money, or getting stolen.
Thats my opinion, you have yours, i respect it, perhaps you could respect mine aswell.

It's all relative mate. I'm self employed and I have more work than I can handle so I make the money/time tradeoff just about every day and I can tell you from personal experience that if there was no glitch and the credits were a better value, I would have boughts some myself. I can go out and work for an hour and use that money to buy credits saving me hours and hours and hours of mindless, unenjoyable grinding to get to what I really want to do which is buy cars, tune and race, not grind. And I'm not a millionaire:lol:

Yes, without the glitch and with a reasonable price it would be a very different story, but those are two massive IF's... The reality is that the glitch existed and the credits price are ridiculous.

Oh wow. 3 people spent 79$ on 7 million credits? Thinking about it that is a whole other game when i spent 115$ on the game, 25 special cars that added up to way more than 7 million in costs, and one million dollars. wow.

If they really want to milk this, they'll give you 50 million credits for a dollar and we'll hear endless complaints about pay to win.

Nobody has mentioned that cars in GT are really expensive. We have cars for 20 million credits. The most expensive cars in Forza are 2 million, maybe 2.5 million. paying money for credits makes sense in Forza. The most expensive pack we have wont even get you the most expensive car. It can get you 3 of the most expensive cars in Forza.

Well. It's their money, so it's okay for people to buy in-game credits if they choose. I would too, because grinding is so lame and you'll get bored of it so fast you'll won't even make a chuckle. So I end up selling my best cars for money so I can avoid that 🤬.
