Having an issue

Hey guys,

My laptop is picking up the wifi signal "Signal strength: Excellent" but web browsers, msn etc aren't hooking up to the web. Server not found and all that stuff.

Can anyone halp me?

Can you ping an address?

Start > Run > type "cmd"

Then type "ping www.google.com"

If that doesn't work type "ping 64.233.183.104"

If the first doesn't work, but the second does. It's a problem with your DNS.

If neither work, i'd say your router is not connected to the internet. Try power cycling it.
