I have a setup for the FGT that's carried over from GT4. I will share it here.
First: Get the FGT to 750 PP.
Set Power limiter to either 50% or 50.1% (should be 467 HP).
Add 200 lbs of ballast
Aero should be 67 Front and 83 rear.
The 3 above steps should get the car to exactly 750 PP.
Next, the setup:
Set transmission to 205 MPH (no point setting it higher as the car won't even reach that on the long straight).
Suspension:
Ride height 10 10
Spring Rate 17.4 17.5
Dampers Extension 8 8
Compression 6 6
Rollbars 7 7
Camber 2.0 1.0
Toe 0.00 -0.20
Brakes 7/1 split
You shouldn't have too much difficulty but from the last straight til the line the rest of the field will gain on you so just be aware to get around all of them before then.
That sounds pretty close, but I had the suspension settings all the way down - max ride height, softest spring rates, softest roll bars, etc. Brakes I believe were at 5/2 f/r.
And you're right about that long straight - they'll gain on you. I got passed there by one of the opponents, but I kept on the gas into the curves after the straight, and got around him again, just in time.
I believe the F2007 and F10 could work also as a premium alternative, although I could be wrong
... If you want to maximize your chances, wait until the Toyota 7 starts on pole. He will hold the fast cars up for a long time. If the Minolta, Sauber or Pescarolo start on pole then you will need to be really quick.
It's not the car that makes the difference on Nurb, it's learning the track. .
Its actually one of my faves. I race it all the time although not the 24hr circuit version. 90% of the track is the same as what im used to though the trouble is im not used to racing it in a car anywhere near that fast nor MR drivetrains with wide chassis
Touring cars are great there and most German cars and muscle cars but the track is so narrow and at those kinds of speeds any contact with the grass whatsoever practically ends your chances of winning![]()
Yeah I know any contact with the grass or anything else I guess ill jus have to keep trying til I learn the track better but its frustrating me I jus don't believe I'm good enough to get it done right now

For a car that's easy to drive, forgiving of mistakes, and capable of stomping the LMs into mush...

I'll have to try it with the gtr something I may be able to handle but s2k2k3 can u post your setup?
...
Same car and setup I used with stock turbo and power limiter to run the wet Spa TT. Ran a 2:31 my first lap. This car is dead stable even in the wet. Well, I did run TCS 1 for the rain.![]()
