I like it, nMd_pRo. I really like it. 👍 The colors are a bit oversaturated for my taste, though, but it really makes it look warm. I'd forget about the miniature filter and lower the F-number instead.

Thanks, i did use the miniature filter just for a try, but i don't like it much cuz it blurs too much the edges of the image and makes it looks unfocusef, i used 5.0F and 1/125, i'll be trying to keep improving.

Hi everybody, I'm back with another Photograph. Again I'm not that great but I am getting there. Looking at that first Mclaren Image I posted on my previous post after a goods night sleep, I feel it may be too desaturated. I am going for the realistic look in my image, so people constructive criticism would be really helpfull the image in post #436 (Pg22) and this image below. Thanks guys.

Thanks for all the posters for the information in here...great education about HDR and other tools. Learning tons and trying to be very subtle...thank you all.

.

gizmo1981: #394 - while I may chide your choice of paint jobs, I can't argue with the tonemapping on this image. Great capture of reflections, the interior is well-lit and detailed, and none of the highlights are blown out. Nicely done! 👍 And on #403, same thing!

gizmo1981: #410 - looks like you went away from the more subtle processing you'd done with your earlier HDR shots; I liked the other ones for their subtlety and realism (well, as realistic as a chrome car can be, that is). This one, not so much, I'm afraid - sorry. :( In the meantime, if you want to see a couple of HDR composite shots I did early on, take a look at these. Four Nissans, three Ferraris, two Ferraris and my favorite - four Chevys. :)

All: Keep up the good work; I hope you all took my comments as constructive and encouraging! :)

Cheers mate, I ought to add you to PSN though I'm not sure a random add would be appreciated

Thanks for your advice, I did feel the chromes would be a little over the top but I couldn't help picking them for my first HDR's ( I like shiny things  )

supraking: #352 - the first one's nice and subtle; definitely the kind of HDR I prefer, though some might disagree. Composition's a little too tight to the bottom-left corner for my taste, but I like it overall. As for the second shot, the Lambo's crazy orange lends itself well to HDR, doesn't it? I like the comp and, once again, it's a relatively subtle tonemapping. (One post-processing tip: HDR tends to over-lighten the black of tires - a quick masked levels layer in Photoshop to bring back the black makes a big improvement.)

thanks for that matey
first one was rather subtle. and yep the comp is abit tight, i quite like having them on the edge, but that one is abit much.
the lambo, you have to go abit OTT with that orange :) really does lend itself to it, came out good

cheers for the tip bout the tyres, had noticed but didnt think it was too bad. will change for my next one

My third try at HDR. (I don't know how to edit that watermark out :dunce: ) Thanks for the tutorial sixtoes!!

here's a new one, HDR+extensive Photoshop corrections and detailing

click the image for it's full size

that was looking good until i noticed the splodges down teh side. probably cobble reflections but made to look terrible.
other than that it looks very good

Yeah, I noticed that as well... Probably shadows or reflections or whatever.

Slightly better version. Still working on it, I may update this post later...

Never tried making an HDR image from GT5 before, so below is my first try at it. Standard model '69 Corvette Stingray with light blue matte paint job.

A bit of added noise given the classic subject matter. Unfortunately I had some dents in the front of the Stingray, but the damn AI for that seasonal event are surprisingly slow.

juhaniman, I think that Lambo shot is amazing! Blotches or not 👍

s12ken, that Citreon picture is absolutely boss!!!

I've just earlier finished my first real attempt at HDR, comments and feedback would be appreciated. I've got no real idea of what exactly I'm doing, I basically followed sixtoes tutorial as best I could...

Looking at it now, I definitely need to lighten up the shadowing around the stairs, and somehow kill some of the exposure on the front of the church.
As for the ghosting people, I'm not sure there's much you can do about that????

Latest attempt. First is the HDR image only, second with some photoshop touch ups.

I have the image in larger resolutions if anyone wants it :dopey:
