Hi,

Would headtracking work in GT5 with sony's new Sony "HMZ-T1" videoglasses?
it would be an awesome combo, actually moving your head around the car.

Hi,

It would be cool; but how could you look around the car, and look out the windscreen at the same time? :sly:

that is a good video of how it works within GT5.
I wonder if you use the camera in combination with the videoglasses if it will work?
and if you can set the head turning angle higher.

No it won't, headtracking needs the use of a PS eye and your face is obscured by the use of the videoglasses.

I have the HMZ T1, and I'm lloking desperated a good face tracking for PC, and I dont Find it.

I also have the ps3 camera with the GT5 and it dont work for one reason, the PS3 camera head tracking is the worst thing you have ever seen.

If you want to use it in the computer like me, you have things like the TRACK IR, wich don't work properly.

When I mean properly, I mean that it have a close working range area, so you dont have a real Virtual reality gaming because if you move your head to the right 30º, in the game yo might be moving it 90º.

Of course you can configure it to be real º , but even the best model have a range of 50º, wich I consider is just not enough.

I'm looking out now know for Kinect, wich works with PC, and just had a new firmware wich looks like it can make a real and proper head tracking, wich means Full Virtual Reality, Wich means the next step of simulating
