Can anyone suggest TCS,ASM,ABS settings to help with this test? I really hate the Bugatti(sailboat). I have literally tried 50 times and missed the times anywheres from 5 sec all the way to .009.

I used TCS 1 and passed it second time.

Just brake earlier than you would think and dont overdo it on your turning. Keep it clean.

If anything, try doing corner tests. In certain areas of the track, you can cut massively on the corners and not get DQ'd, while others, a slight nudge on a grass blade will DQ you. Basically run the laps testing each corner, and when you figure out the corners that can be cut, your lap time will go down. And like @Catlin said, the car is extremely garbage on the corners, you can't late brake at all or even brake trail. Cut up for the time lost on the straights, and in the corners cut or stay at a lower speed than usual. You will be fine, frustrating as it is. For TCS leave it at 1 or 0, but when you launch it from the start line, do 2-3 gear for a good launch. ABS is at 1, such a gigantic boat, you don't want the front brakes to lock up by accident.

Thanks for the advice. I actually just passed barely lol.

Took me a few tries just to get Bronze on DS3 no aids, not even tried to get better.
Very hard.

Do something else for half an hour and go back to it, you'll do it i bet you;-)

TC 0 ABS 1 and everything else off.
Brake early and turn in with two wheels on the grass in just about every corner.
Took me the best part of 20 minutes to gold it on DS3 bro!

weight shift, know the car's limit on corner entry speed, don't understeer more than it needs to. Way the fox slow in, and as fast as you can out. Zero aids recommended, just ABS1. Try taking the chicanes in a straight wave path, don't worry if you clip too much, if your time stays white, that's the fault of PD. turn the wheel in more to initiate drift on med speed bends, this car is just very tame to that sort of torture. It's like a complex spring loaded Brick that want's to come back into home position, which is pointing only smack in the middle of your front windsheild, whether at 5km/hr or at 500.

modulate throttle and upshift early to torque out of each corner. brake v. early to next coming corner, know the track. easy to bronze/silver with this approach. Gold requires knowledge of EVERY corner entry, which I don't have time for, I'm forever on the Nur or now, Brands Hatch, oh and Matterhorn too, oh and Willowsprings is so nice too!

Slow in, fast out. Brake early, get the car turned in nice and early and get back on the power as soon as you can because it's got a load of traction. I'm surprised to see so many people having issues with it really, I didn't know the track well and still did it first time easily.

Great tips in this thread:tup:
For me it was braking earlier for each corner with each attempt - which in turn gave me a good grounding of the track - and this got me gold:)

I just basically threw it around the track. Its just very hard to oversteer and not have the car fly off the track because of the weight of the car. Keeping the nose pointed inside the turn is key and using that beastly weight properly is a must.

I thought S-4 was much harder. I think I just put TCS 2, and had ASM on. Gold by about 1 sec first time I actually made it around the track without an off.

Everyone saying slow in, fast out is absolutely correct. The car has 1000hp, all that slow cornering time is pretty much instantly made up in the straights.

Every licence test in this game can be golded without any aids even with a ds3 just handle your throttle carefully.

that about the corners gives you the extra seconds you need, i was really carefull about not getting in the grass because if you do so in the first 2 corners you get DQ, but then i watched a video and saw that there are many places where you can cut corners over the grass, good luck!

I don't know about you, but I'm on a DFGT wheel. I turn all of my assists off, besides ABS to 1, if SRF is your thing... run it if permitted. ABS and SRF are the only assists that I have found that will not slow me down. But, I did get gold on all my licenses without any aids besides ABS set to 1. Some are tougher than others, like the crazy Bugatti one that's giving you a tough time now. Keep at it... that is definitely a car you wanna brake early in.

Few tips...

The Bug is super fast on the straights, so don't try and carry loads of corner entry speed creating understeer, focus on getting the best possible exit from the corner.

It's got loads of traction, so you shouldn't need any aids (other than ABS) - if you get your entry speed right you can actually use the power to drift out of the tighter corners slightly.

Ascari is a tough track to learn as it has some blind corner entries and parts of it are quite technical. Switch the driving line on until you've learnt where the braking points and apexes are.

It might not feel like it, but the gold time is easily beatable (the top time on my friends list is 6s inside the gold time), so don't try too hard... Work up to the time slowly, focusing on completing laps and learning the techniques. You don't need to drive every corner anywhere near the limit to get gold.

Good luck 👍

I found the Aventador one harder. Was doing it for half an hour. I either drove the first part great or the second part great, but couldn't drive both well until I just did.
I was scared of the S-5 much more than I should've been as I completed it in about 5 tries. TCS on 1 and ABS 1, steering sensitivity on 7.
