Can the sidepods get any further back?

What no radiators?! Those sidepods, with the side-impact protection, are seriously ugly. Are they taking it to Australia?

Isn't this an old Tyrrell concept? The last time they ran a Tyrrell concept (I'm thinking Harvey's old double floor) wasn't it a disaster.

Still - I think these guys know what they're doing...

Call me stupid but what the hell is that thing jutting out next to the airbox??

A hook to hang all the victory laurels???

What do you think it is? It's a beverage cup holder.

Is it me, or is Ferrari so out in front they can revert to their "twin-floor" design of a decade ago?

I'm rather surprised nobody thought to curve the sidepods like that before.

Vat_man's right, it's a winglet hanging off the back of the sidepod by the rear wheel. It's a combination of perspective distortion and compression that makes it look like it's attached to the airbox.

I heard during testing, that Michael Schumacher offically won the 2003 World Championship. It's over.

This is what we will see all year long again.

Have been a fan of the scuderia for along time now so I think I'm the only person in the world to be enjoying there success I think even the tifosi are getting bored now. I seem to remember a few years ago many commentators bemoaning the fact that they hadnt had success for along time including this guy called Bernie something or other hmmm.....?

It's true that it's good to see a team enjoying some success. But F1 to the lay-viewer is all about the anticipation, the excitment of who's going to win.

Personally, I think that battle of who's going to win between Button and Villeneuve will be far more intriguing this year.

The Ferrari rejection is all about dominance, and the fact that the team will do whatever it sees as being necessary to get that dominance.

The public at large seem not to understand that Ferrari are in the business of winning races, and what they've done is no more or less than that. Obviously, most people are fickle, since they want the team that's winning everything to be knocked off their perch. It's a vicious cycle.

its all cyclic, Ferrari (hate to say it ) will fall eventually and someone else will take their place at the top of the heap and then they will be dethroned as well and so on
Will love to see what happens in '05 as Michaels contract expires at the end of '04
shall see what happens then

Retirement I reckon, even if he doesnt win the championship again, he wont have anything else to prove and I cant see him racing on seriously in champ cars or Le Mans etc..

Yeah, Ferrari went 21 years without a driver's title, and 17 without a Constructor's Cup.

So sue me if I'm enjoying a Ferrari domination rather than Williams domination (1980, 1987, 1992-93, 96) or McLaren domination (1984, 1988-89, 1998). It's their turn, I suppose.

I say: Wait Until '04!

Not only does this new Ferrari look better than any Ferrari has done for years, but it is fast too.

At a time when Williams is struggling to get it's 2003 car to go quicker than it's 2002 model, Ferrari is already breaking lap records at Fiorano and Imola with its new car.

To my mind, the only car that could get close to this new Ferrari is the McLaren MP4/18, and then because it's the only 2003 car not to hit the tracks yet so we just can't say how good it might be.

If the odds on Schumi weren't so short I'd put money on him for the title.
