Hey all-
Kevin here. I'm in the Army and have been for the last 12 years. Right now I'm stationed in Maryland. Came across this site and thought it looked fun. ran the qualifier for the WRS and sent my times to flat out. have no idea if he got them, had some email/messenger issues. Been looking at some of the archived races and I'd like to run them just to get an dea of where i am. Here's the question: are all these races run in arcade mode like the qualifier or are some in gt mode with specifics regarding allowed settings? If the answer is posted someplace i aploigize; couldn't find it. Peace.
Sphinx is Jerry, from the UK, sjaak68 is Sjaak, from the Netherlands.
They're definitely not the same person.
I can't explain Sjaak's signature though. Admiration ?
was up wrs im new to wrs and i hope to be part of it for a long time. i dont know my division yet but i hope to get it soon i turned in my qualify times yesterday i really want to compete in week 78
If you've submitted your qualifier to Flat out he will place you in a division on Tuesday when he posts the results for this weeks race. Go ahead and race this week anyway and post your split times in the current race thread, (Week 78).
Welcome freddy 👍 Even though you may not have been given your division yet, feel free to post your splits for this week's race in the thread here and your division will be sorted out by submission time.
I just got my response from Flat-Out--I'm in division 2.
Now it's time to give it a go in the Alpine. I've been looking at some of the splits people have posted and I don't know how some of you do it. Of course, I'm still using the directional pad, so that might be hurting me...
There are several newly registered racers to whom I PMed yesterday.
The registered drivers list is up-to-date, I need to post their names here so that we can welcome then properly.
It sounds like I'm one of them.
My real name is Mike and my avatar should explain my nickname. I really suck at videogames with one exception - racing games. That could explain why I own two consoles and only three games (skipped GT3).
I'm at 98% with GT4 (all A-Spec) so I was looking for new challange.
WRS just might be the thing to keep me interested in the game after I beat it.
Anyway, my qualifier time put me in Division 2.
See you around :-)
He's right there Mike. I hadn't played GT4 for months before joining the WRS, I now play virtually every day. I've been here for the last four or five months...You'll never leave!
