I think the main point here is the Scion FR-S has recently been released onto the market*(officially to buy) and was therefore, due to licensing, not allowed in the GT5 game(*officially) until this date of official release--...officially;). Thank for you the link, by the way.

I know, I was responding to a post where the guy seems to think this was a sudden decision due to a long absince of DLC when it was announced long ago.

Really? So this announcement never happened? Did it also not occur to you that as opposed to "Rebadging" a car they have, they actually modelled that car seperately since its only sold in a Left hand drive market?

I never said it didn't happen  but another variant of the GT-86 is still what the FR-S is...

Wait a minute, the FR-S is PD "Rebadging" a car according you, but the BRZ, essentially also the same car, is somehow more important?

The BR-Z relates to me better, hence why I'd prefer it over the FR-S. To be honest I think PD should be working on all-new vehicles instead of the old "one car, many markets" mindset.

Mate, this is GT we should be used to it by now..I know it doesn't make it right but still, would also prefer the Subaru myself.

I guess the BRZ will be added soon as it's japanese.

IMO it's the coolest version.

Pretty poor to be honest. Motegi is from GT4 therefore (in my mind) it should be free.
As for the car, I think they must be saving alot for GT6 now.

No you didn't, but your post regarding how all they did was "rebadge" seems to alude to how they put no work in it so it just came off that way.

Would that be purely because of the badge or something else?

TRM is very welcome in my view and I would pay $5. I enjoyed driving the section used in GT Academy. The oval I suspect will get a lot of play in the online NASCAR rooms because it has different radii at either end, similar to Darlington and unlike the two Cup tracks we now have in the game (Indy and Daytona).

Eitherway, about time this is pumped through the tube. This was before the GT86 was pumped to us via Update I do think.

This is great news for those new FR-S owners and the GT fans. Finally able to have a LHD version.
