How about we stick to the current points system but only change the points from 11th to 16th. Next season have new points system?

EDIT: System I was thinking of would be 20-17-15-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. 1 Bonus point for pole, 1 bonus point for fastest lap.

Yeah, don't ask me how, but Stig was able to get that damage while we were all lining up for the race.
 
i was just thinking. If they had included track conditions such as marbles of rubber building up on the sides of the track. that last right hander at tsukuba would have been a nightmare if you got off the racing line. you would be guaranteed a spot in the trackside wall.

Also, I'm supposed to ask if you guys want the races for now on pushed back until 6:00 Eastern, due to BlackIce's new job. I really don't think we'll be able to do this, as I think there are a few people who can't make that, but I said I would ask anyway :)

Mule, maybe a vote would be a fair way to determine if the race time should change?

Also, what was the "Race Finish Delay" set to in race #2? I think many of the racers did not finish before the timer expired, right? If it was left at the default (30 seconds) we should lengthen this for future races.
 
Yea, a vote would probably be a good idea. We Canucks gotta get some practice in for the election next month ;)

And I forgot to change when when I dropped yesterday, and Wiifreak forgot to change it, too, so it was the default 30 seconds.


EDIT: Looks like somebody is trying to start a rival series, using the same cars. I encourage you all to boycott it.

Maybe you cant make saturdays because of work and sundays will work better?

New job might have me working till late on saturdays but I wanna continue. Or move the race date to sundays at 6? I know most of u are free then because the miata race so I don't think thatll be a problem.

I vote for sunday night at 6PM ya?

As for the tracks, I will give that a shot.

As for the time change, I actually like it how it is. This way I can devote my time each day for that car and that track. If we ran the race on Sunday.. Who knows, with connection issues, the race could end late. It could run late enough that those of us in the Miata series would have no time to practice before that race.. Or worse yet, we could miss our start.

I am not trying to be a dick, and I am willing to consider this further. It would suck to lose BlackIce from the series. I just don't know if a change of our race time and race day mid season is the best choice.
 
I'd be good with later on saturday....I don't think I could do both this and the miata race in one day though....

When watching the replay I noticed that I was the only one smoking up the tires on almost every corner :crazy:. Why is that? Was it my setup, lines, throttle input, or all of the above?

Mule's custom track is pretty fun. The back end gets very loose in several corners. The way the track editor sometimes slopes the road down and away from the apex makes for some interesting turns as well. On the plus side, turns like this seem to be kind to the tires since you have to take them at such low speed. I'm still flying off track on a lot of corners though :dunce:

I was smoking too but I thinks that's cos I'm on a controller.

Hm. That might make sense but it's still a little strange because I can see other peoples smoke when they spin out (at least I can in photographs, not 100% sure the replay itself though).
 
Smoke online and in replays doesnt show unless there is a lot of it, like in drifting. But a little smoke coming from the turns and off the line wont show to anyone else but you. In my replay I smoked up my tires off the line but im sure that for anyone of you,you wont see my smoke at all.

Also, why not just change the time saturday instead of moving it to sunday? Does delaying the race 2 hours sound fair? I dont think ill be working this saturday so I dont think you gotta decide before next weekend, I dont know about next week though.
 
My Le Mans co-driver bailed on me. :(

Also, I may or may not make it to this weekends race, but you can count me in for the Enduro. 👍
