I wish someone would come up with an AR2 code to dump a block of memory to screen, or memory card or something, how the hell do people hack codes on a stock ps2???

I've been wondering that same thing because there are no working emulators or debug devices for playstation2 :boggled:

Anyway, here are the master codes for Prologue, drop a note if there's a device I've left out.

These codes are absolutely baffling... the gymkhana and Grand Canyon North codes simply write "newyork" into memory while the Hong Kong code writes "newyork hongkong" into memory.

I would be really interested to see how these are done. The Japanese Prologue disc has many, many, more crs files on it.
 
The mega turbo code gives you a massive boost when you press R3, on Fuji's main straight it's easy to see speeds like 1500km/h or so :cool: check the link I posted earlier if you want to see it in action.

fib0r: I had to figure them out myself simply because I didn't find working codes anywhere :lol:
Technically, the only problem with them was that older Action replays can't do multiple skip "joker" codes at all..
 
Sounds VERY VERY COOL. Are there codes to the same effect for GT3 and GTC or just prologue?? Cos that would make an interesting addition to my scores list on test course. But it would be really cool in actual races too, not just to have a laugh.

Though having a laugh is what I really want with it - like going the wrong way up a hill and hitting a car - i.e. using the P001 or any f1 car and hitting the R390 when its coming down the hill on mdifield is supreme. It and you go flying really high in the air!!! And that's at 200km/h!! Let alone 1000!!

:odd: now that's weird, those codes should work and everyone keeps saying ARv2 is the same as GSv2.. you should try this alternative master code, it may help you: EC878548 1456E79B

I have AR2 v2 and I've tried with the codes on the first pages oh this thread and the game doesn't start (maybe its my PS2) but can someone please post them again? Thanx

Have noticed that on codejunkies.com there is no more section for AR2 v2! Am I correct?

wow i didn't know hong kong was so beautiful - and that's only half done with 2D ppl and without moving water :D

hmm, now i only need 1456 version for 60Hz mode :)

now, for anyone with Gameshark2 v2 - that alaternate master code EC878548 1456E79B works with those 1456 codes!

anyway, i just had a thought: i think gtplanet should have a code section under each game (with codes for different cheat devices etc) - there's lotsa codes for previous games also and those that are not published on those cheat device manufacturers' sites, so if any site owner, moderator or expert like Arwin are reading this - BRING IT TO THE PEOPLE!!!

i still didin't get wat PAL suppose to be....

Did anyone try that code i converted to GS V2?Did it work?It was my first time trying to convert a code to GS V2 so i am not sure if it will work.

If yes, it works always? If it works 100% who cares about MAX ¬_¬
 
Recently I bought an ARmax,download the prologue codes from codejunkies,but when I select the replace code for hongkong and go to new York in arcade,my playstation lockes up.Only one time was I possible to race the hongkong track.Who can help me?
 
GTChamp2003, I'd just like to say, thanks for all the Xploder codes. They work fine now (except for 1/4 speed timer and the Y-Fix makes the screen a little too high even at +23 Vertical) and I am very grateful. :cheers: Now I don't have to shell out £20 and get an AR Max.

Remove the memory card from slot 1.It probably has GT4 Prologue data on it.
