Did i miss something? I see people are saying license tests give away money?. Ermm, not for me!. i think you guys mean special events.

why do people say the dream car championship is good for grinding money? I tried a few times and the 500k won't be given if you quit before the last race...

You have just to start the last race, but you can leave it immediately, when you see the cars in the starting-grid.

If you leave the Championship before the last race you will not get the 500k.

If you can be bothered doing it yourself, Indy in Like the Wind using the X2010.

Average race time = 2:45
(84,000 / 165) * 60 = 30,545 cr/pm = $1,832,700 per hour
(3,564 / 165) * 60 = 1,296 exp/pm = 77,760 exp per hour

Fractionally higher credits & experience than Indy in the American championship however equally as boring.

The 2010 zr1 vett bought stock from new car dealership can be made into a race car in the place where you wash your car. Then add all the preformance parts to it.. Total less that 500,000 credits.. Then go to your setting and set trans at 242 mph and add all down force to the front of car..
You now have a car that will run in the 42 sec range on indy in the american races.. Pays 117,000 and you get 4440 credits. Total race time around 3mins 40 secs or less, and in less than 20 minutes you have won 585,000 credits and 22200 ep. So in one hour time you can earn 1,755,000. And 66,600 xp.

i usually run the first 2 races in dream car championship then start the 3rd and exit out right away, then run the lemans race then start the last race and exit out right away... So now i have run only 3 races in the 5 race championship for a total of 300 points towards the championship.. This is enough if you mess with the other cars that may have a chance of making over 300 points.
You get 108,000 credits for each of the 3 races, and then get another 540,000 for the championship... Total 864,000 credits. And a lot of xp as well..... (about 34 minutes with a fast car), like the nisson rx8, madza 787b.
If the jag xj9 is in the race this makes it harder to win in 3 races but still can be done if you play it right..
You can also win the championship every time when running only 4 races as long as you come in first place for the 4 races and then start the last race and exit out right away.

So what is the consensus here on the best way to get credits in a legit manner (no rubberband tricks or anything like that). I'm still seeing a lot of different answers. I've been grinding by going around the American Indy course in my Ford GT LM Spec II which takes about 3:46 and yields 97,000 credits. I really wish PD didn't decrease the credits from 116,000 :(

I'd say that the quickest way for money is to buy a Corvette Zr1 and RM it and pit soft tires and mod the rest, and go do the Indy Speedway in like the wind. You should be able to come in first in less than 4 minutes, giving you around 70,000 credits a race.

b-spec..Dream car.... do first 4 races, skip last....BTW you can skip last 2 races if you make sure the cars with the most points are in a lower rank when you exit race....You can do this in A-spec as well...

Indy race track in American Championship w/ RM'd Corvette ZR1. Win the race within 3min 46 sec and gain 107,000 Cr. Really easy, but boring at times.

Why is it that everyone seems to be going after shorter races to gain money?
Why are Enduro's not worth more?
B-spec Enduro's do not give us enough money, so why is there not a fix coming for this problem?
It cost me 500 k to rebuild my Viper motor to be able to get 12k in an online race, i only gain 20 hp when i did this, is there a faster way to obtain money since i am spending all my money collecting cars thru the used car dealer i need more money:nervous:

The Seasonal Events are pretty damn good. Here's what I did:

-Bought the civik type r
-did some a-spec races and tuned it to max performance (look for a tuning guide)
-Do the FR challenge races on Season events. I would choose either the Trial Mountain or the High Speed ring course (they are the easiest and pay well)
-Once you get money, buy faster cars and keep doing the MR or 4WD events. Just find one race and keep doing it. :) The MR and AWD events pay about 40-50k, so just keep doing one.

Why have the prizes been reduced? it sucks, indy dream car is only 86ooocr and the championship bonus is only 430ooocr. why???

It's been said in an update (forgot which one, pretty sure that it's either 1.06 or 1.07) that the prize money will be decreased while XP earnings will increase.

In my opinion, the best ways to grind are the following:
-American Championship/Like the Wind - boring
-Seasonal Events - I know you're impatient for the bonus races to come :sly:
-Special Events - if it's NOT YET COMPLETED YET, THEN DO IT NAAOOZZ
-Turbo Cup with a Veyron - if Like the Wind isn't unlocked yet, then this is the event for you.
-Online rooms exploiting the SSR7 bug - I'm aware of it, and I'm also sure that many people will do this online before PD gets to fix this bug.

I prefer the dcc. I run it sometimes with the X2010, or the FGT, or the Citroen GT, or the Ford GT spec car, etc. Basically I never run that championship twice in a row with the same car. It gives you almost a million dollars per run and you can put a lot of miles down towards a 1000 ticket.

no joke. I run my PS3 HDMI over to my 23 inch PC monitor and run mindless laps while watching TV...makes it a lil less painful. lol. I don't dupe or glitch, so, it really is the best option for quick cash.

The American Championship in the extreme class (just the 5 lap race around indy speedway!) pays $97,000 every first place victory. You will need a fast car though. I can recommend getting the 09 ZR1 corvette and putting a lot of hp and RMs on it.

Folks, do the seasonal events.

They can be repeated, and all those events if won give you about 3 million. =D

But you need to sign in at PSN. And i'm pissed off beacuse of that.

Sorry for writing so poorly. rsrs

The best way to earn money is the SEASONAL events. For example, I've been farming money this week on the current Super GT Seasonal Event. The race at Eiffel pays $523,000 to win. Playing 3 hours a night, I've gone from 2 mil to 18 mil in about 5 days. Seasonal races have MUCH higher payouts than any other races. Just go to the seasonal screen and mouse over each event. It will tell you what the payout is.

Try different cars at the many seasonal events. Even if you don't win, you'll end up making some good money.
