Sorry, didnt read the quote properly, yes it wil replace your silvers with gold, just like gran turismoer says :)

So far, I've been doing the Kart races over and over again. 36,000 CR in Intermediate.

EDIT: I didn't mean like over and over again as in race it a million times. I meant I did all the kart races and they give you a lot of credits. Sorry for the confusion!

Where exactly is the kart racing events? The only one I see is in the Special Events Level 0 Kart Racing. But it seems that you can only do those events once to get the credits/money.

Maybe revelation can do them over and over again and win money, unlike everyone else, for unknown reasons!
I sense a conspiracy!

Supercar event at lvl 11, 3 laps of daytona oval.... takes about 3 minutes with a fully tuned R35 GTR, yields 17k each time so far.

The special events are definitely the way to go. Im up to over 250000 and have probably been playing for about 2 hours now in terms of trying to get money and not licenses.

Yep, that's the one I found most helpful to make a quick buck to tune cars :P

What happened to the 13 mile long driving park track? We used to able to get over $110k for just two laps with a Buggatti on that track on the PSP. And where the hell is Nurburgring in arcade mode??

CRAP! Exact same thing I'm sure most of us did over and over in Prologue to get money. 👎 Although there was a 5 lap one which got you proportionally more money only downside was it had contact penalties, which didn't bother me.

It gets boring soooo fast.

Ok, if you got your copy from gamestop and redeemed your code for the nascar car, you can use that car in a few of the early events, FR challenge for one and even the supercar challenge in the professional level. That event is three races and pays $17,500 for each race that you will win easily with that car.

Nurburgring in arcade mode is unlocked after you complete the Mercedes AMG Intermediate Special Challenge thing.

The special events make you a buck or two, but 3 or 4 sweet cars drain those funds in an instant.

I just hope this game has something like GT4's costa di amalfi rally... win it forward and backward in 10 minutes, get $30k plus a car you can sell for $250k. It was the ultimate cash cow.

I'm afraid B-spec will be the ticket to making money.

there is no fast forward in B-spec and races are twice as long... not to mention the B-spec driver level up much slower, since he can't do license test or special events

After my first day of doing a random assortment of things, I have a Honda Civic Type R, Lotus Esprit V8, Dodge Challenger R/T '70, Chevy Corvette Stingray Convertible, Mazda MX5, and Chevy Camaro SS '10. I did a combination of the entire B-license, some normal races, and special events. I still have like 40k left over. And those don't include the 15 or so prize cars I got and could have sold but didn't.

ahh yes, b-spec...i made dinner while i let my driver win some races...but i'm still a low level so i was only making like $7000 every 9 minutes, lol.

I don't even care if you don't win that much money from a prize car this time, but costa di amalfi was such a nice track I never got sick of it. Daytona oval is both easy to get sick of and I'm already sick of it from Prologue.

Please let there be a good money making event that's not on an oval :nervous:

Given how expensive the cars are, getting all golds in some of these events has to net you huge windfalls at some point (like a cash bonus of 1 million dollars or more). I can't imagine anyone racing the same track over and over for even a relatively large $35k when there are cars that cost as much as $20 million.

So with b-spec, you just watch some virtual driver race in real-time events, and you can leave it running alone as he completes the race? Can't say I agree this is a good move... sounds like a recipe for a lot of unnecessary usage of power hungry PS3s around the world.

My thoughts exactly! Some of the cars are SO expensive! I don't know how I'm ever going to get them unless I use one of the tedious methods already listed!

I have a feeling some of the more expensive cars can be won. From what I understand though, the later series do net you a ton of money.

This again is my concern with so few events compared to GT4 we will complete the game well before getting many of the cars.

What happened to all the manufacturer races in the dealerships? This just feels like GT Lite compared to GT4

Why you say so few events? Aren't there 9 events each, with like 45 events total? Then you probably unlock even more as you progress through the levels. Plus all the license tests and driving challenges that are beginner intermediate and professional? How is that not many events?

Following the special events gives you a lot of money. Atleast in my case.

I might have already earned 1.000.000 Cr through special events and most only in amateur or "middle". Its also a lot of fun and you get the Top Gear test track and the Nürburgring. I am locking forward to the professional special events. The professional cart racing events gave me 70.000 Cr and 10.000+ experience each.

Look for a Ford RS2000 in the used dealership. It is a decent car for the rallye events!
