 In all the places you could just blurt that out, why in a car/video game message board? :D

Actually man, it kinda turns me on when a female goes out with someone else. You gotta work with the flow, not against it. Instead of complaining about it, find out how you can be on top of the situation at all times.

Have you ever considered the following, because one or more may be true.

1) Having a girlfriend is the biggest waste of everything that has ever been concocted. (money, time, sanity, emotion, time, money)

2) I dont know how old you are, but you will learn that women are great, but only when they are in competition with each other for your affection

3) You're too sensitive. Girls say they like sensitive guys, but its bull****. If they wanted sensitivity, they'd be lesbians. They want testosterone. They want to feel

4) Girls dont like guys whose catharsis is bitching about girls on a car forum.

5) You're a loser, turn off your computer and your playstation, drink a beer, grow a pair, and get some ass.

Sean Connery summed it up the best - And these are WORDS TO LIVE BY.
"Losers always complain about how they did their best. Winners go home and **** the prom queen."

The irony that you post this in a forum populated almost exclusively by guys who spend their time with a games console rather than humans is not lost on me...

 I feel you man!!! I am working on my single problem though... soon it should be fixed....

just took me awhile to get over the last chick...

That's the main reason you got the bike right. So you can pickup loose girls and take them for a long hard ride

LOL.

People don't realize its possible to enjoy video games and still be athletic and have a social life. You just gotta break the steretype.

Don't worry about them Stealth. Personally, being athletic and having a social life isn't high on my priority list. Look at pornostars. They got social lives? Are they athletic? Anyone that knows the pr0n will tell you hell no they aren't. And besides, what's it matter who's better. I can slam a D-5 Trident Ballistic missile through your front door, but that doesn't make me any better than you. Or does it?

Am I the only one here who's married? Happilly so, to a woman that accepts that I'm a game-geek?

Well, not actually married in the formal sense but living together for more than long enough for the law to take care of that for us (ain't broke, don't fix).

She has an addiction to Simcity 3000 anyway, so there's no problem.

I keep telling her to 'save yourself, it's too late for me' but I think she's too far gone to be saved from game geekdom. I think the game's got hold of her project manager side.

It's like 'Return of the Jedi' where I'm Darth and she's Luke, except instead of redemption for Vader both characters end up on the dark side...

Thats the difference between a "relationship" and being whipped.

for instance, my girlfriend flew 3000 miles last week to come see me for 3 days. Now, if I spent all kinds of cashola on her (which I dont have) do you think she would have done that? No, she would have expected me to fly to her.

Women are a delicate balancing act. You CAN NOT let them walk all over you. That is the NUMBER ONE MISTAKE that "nice guys" make.

I see my loser friends drop $400 bones and 92 hours on a girl in a weekend, with nothing (usually) to show for it when she ditches them on monday. I spent less than that on my girl between may and september, and we're all over each other.

If you want some REALLY good advice. Watch your posture. Its the first thing that women see. Stand tall, suck in that gut and spread your shoulders as much as you can comfortably maintain. "sensitivity to their needs" only comes after at LEAST 2 months with them, and then is to be used only sparingly. Be tough and dont take **** from anybody.

SAY THIS TO YOURSELF EVERY DAY

YOU MUST NOT FEAR. FEAR IS THE MIND KILLER. FEAR IS THE LITTLE DEATH THAT BRINGS TOTAL OBLITERATION. I WILL FACE MY FEAR. I WILL PERMIT IT TO PASS OVER ME AND THROUGH ME. AND WHEN IT IS GONE PAST I WILL TURN THE INNER EYE TO SEE ITS PATH. WHERE THE FEAR HAS GONE THERE WILL BE NOTHING. ONLY I WILL REMAIN.

There is a reason that the captain of the football team ****s the head cheerleader.

The confidence thing is important - but it's the confidence of being comfortable being yourself, not of doing or being something you're not.

Dunno about the Dune quotes though - that whole epic ended up in a bit of a mess. Ah - if it works, it works...
