Should be receiving my wheel sometime today hopefully as early as possible. Need to start preparing my obutto for install and maybe play with my gt2 wheel for a bit before putting it back in its box so I can really feel the difference of the csr elite

Update: Shifters on Xbox do not work.

Just called fanatec support and they confirmed it. It's a firmware bug is hoped to be resolved ASAP.

What firmware version have you got on the wheel. And why can't they send you the new 717 firmware.

^It's because it's a beta firmware. It's still going under testing by us. Most likely when it's done, it'll be part of a larger update, or it'll be released on it's own.

The wheels are shipped with 707. I do believe we'll see an update very very soon, since a Forza official wheel not working in Forza is kind of ............

Yah I got the Tracking number. (4th order from fanatec and 1st tracking number) It will be here today. (and for me with my ups route that's like 8:30 pm) (not grumpy about getting it today just at ups in general I actually use usps on my preorders from amazon just so it gets here FASTER (around noon))

Fanatec has been good about alerting me when an order has shipped, but they haven't always been timely with tracking info. I recommend signing up for a My UPS account. Once your account is verified, any time someone ships you something via UPS you'll be notified.

I received UPS Quantum View notification and tracking info as soon as Fanatec's US distributor created a shipping label. Fanatec sent me the tracking info the following day.

I downloaded as well...still no wheel yet and probly wont get it for another 6-8 hours but everything is ready for install

Just update sucessfully to 715. I even made a mistake, but if you do just power off the wheel and start over.


This is a HUGE update for this wheel

I'm off playing Forza 4 with ACL and much better FFB than on 707.

Was cables for sequencial/H shifter and pedals delivered with the wheel ?

It seems pedal/shifter cables compatible with Fanatec Porsche wheels would not work with CSR Elite since the shifter/pedal connectors on the wheel base looks different.

As I was sleeping I had a dream about installing my crs elite, my alarm went off I woke up decided to check my front door and there it was lol. Woohoo csr elite in the process of unboxing and installing onto my obutto

Darn... you guys are lucky. Christmas present galore!

I hope I can test the CSW soon seeing all you lucky brats showing off like little kids on Christmas eve... and it's not even Christmas eve yet! Anyhow... the wait is killing me, but I want Fanatec, Thomas and the Beta test team to make sure that the CSW is practically bug free. Which it should be considering the price range. I would personally wish to avoid wheels being sent out like now and that there are still too many issues in the firmware (tweaking or bugs). I think that when a retail product is sent out it should be in full working order hard-, soft- and firmware wise. The updates should only contain minor fixes, tweaks and added features in my opinion.
