Weird... due to the fact that he only comes with me when I'm involved in an important race. I'll let you know what happens (possible challenge...). My best friend is going as well. He's looking for a good uphill challenge. We usually don't look for challenges, but we're bored, so it's different now. I've been checking out some "scoobies" lately. I want one, but I can't stand the fact that I will be driving a different car.
That would be a good idea for you, Thio. Knowing more than the next guy is a great advantage for you. Most kids out here only know the basics. They think power is everything when it reality it's not. My car is a prime example of it. High power and a good suspension setting isn't going to win you a race when you're against a perfectly balanced car. That picture on my website of me against an FC is a good example. Back then, my car was pushing 150ps (possibly less, I've never dynoed my car). That FC stock pushes out over 210ps. My dad is a genius when it comes to modifying and balancing out a car. I think his suspension setting is one of the prime factors of why I win so many races against cars that overpower me. My biggest victory was a BNCR33 that pushed a little more than 300ps (that's what I heard from a friend). It had some engine work, but it also had stock suspension, and stock brakes. Right there is a disadvantage because you can only have so much power on a stock suspension, especially in a car that's as heavy as the R33 GT-R.
Well, now that I've said that, I'm going to do something. Take it easy.
