i got a 86 corolla, 5spd, 108k miles, its got 15in rota rims on it with brembo slotted rotors and goodridge breaklines. For drifting its got a kyb g2 adjustable suspension with eibach sport springs (1.5 inch drop), eibach swaybars and a eibach strut tower bar. For performance its got a ram intake of some sort, apexi n1 exhaust, and unortidox pulleys. Its got kuhmo supra tires on it that are brand new. The car is black with a silver stripe on the side.

I've had the car for 2 months and I dislike it so it's leaving the garage to make room for a new 240sx.

Im asking 2900, the car is in Maine

Present Garage:
92 GTI, 245hp (For sale)
94 240sx, 364hp
89 RX7, 231hp
94 Legacy, 242hp, (For sale)

Ok...

If you have spent that much money on it it strikes me that your selling price is a bit cheap...

Anyways... oh well... have fun with you 240sx...

you give up that easy?? prove him wrong. go make a fast tercel. ya know they make sturt towers, roll-cages, and stuff to stiff in up the body. that one in link you showed us sucked though. better then my car but it sucked. you should make the tercel of your dreams. look around and find more info on them. id bet you anything you could build a fast good handling tercel if wanted too. i say you should go for the tercel if thats what you want. it will be harder to get parts for but itd be worth it in the end. can you say sleeper?? just because there aren't many people modding tercels doesn't make them bad. there just not as popular.

I was talking from a practical view because it doesn't make sense just to spend as much money to mod a Tercel as it does to mod an Integra or Civic. If you want to pursure the perfect Tercel then, go ahead. I was just giving my advice through practical reasoning. Go ahead, like wana b drifter said, pursue your dreams. If you quit this early, well, you'll be doing this a lot :banghead: ;)

if hes anything like me he changes his mind alot. though out the past 3 months ive had atleast 5 ideas that seemed GREAT!!!! at the time. my most recent one was 92-93 integra one. most people say its a bad idea but i want to prove them wrong reallly bad. but my pizza hut pay check doesn't allow me to much but save up and dream what if....but by the end of this year i plan on having about $2000-2500 to buy my project car with. then ill save up and buy the parts and have a GREAT car by next summer;) well thats my plan right now. it could change. im almost 18 and have adhd. i change my mind ALOT!!! so we'll see what happens:p

Don't get me wrong guys, the car is cool because i've only seen one other one like it in maine but it's not really for me. I prefer Nissans and Vdub's and the Toyota wasn't as good as the 240sx at drifting. I'm selling it for cheap because my new 96 240sx is sitting outside and the s14 conversion kit is in my garage plus the s14 is sort of like my holy grail. I gotta sell the car to get it out of my garage and since im going to college I'm limited to a car in maine and a car in PA. It's thier of anyone wants it.

Well... I'm getting ready for work, and I turn on the television, and I see on CNN that half the U.S. is out of power... which would explain why nobody is online. Sounds fun... Well, I sold the MA63 Celica. I was offered a whole lot of money for the car, so I got rid of her. My next project car is unknown. I'm thinking of a JZA70, MA70, AW11, or just for fun... modify the AE85, and hopefully push out more than 100ps. Oh yeah... my dad basically opened up to me about where he got his engine. Since it's the GT-300 3S-GTE, it pushes about 400ps. The GT-500 3S-GTE used in the JGTC Supras push over 500ps. My dad's engine, was an 'extra' engine that MOMO used back when they raced their SW20 in JGTC. He still didn't tell me where he got it, or how much he spent, but he modified THAT engine just a little bit. He installed a larger turbine and increased the boost. The engine is so complex. It has an anti-turbolag exhaust system on it (not mis-firing) and it works wonderfully. Help me decide what to get for my next project car. Okay, it's almost 8:00AM, so I shall be going.

well a supra is a pricy car, and the mods r even more out there, i would do a AW11, they look nice, is mid engine and has good power to weight ratio, plus Buddy CLub kits for that car look awesome, but thats jsut my opinion, WHOO CALIFORNIA ROCKS, no black outs for me

Oh i understand now rallysport29.
Dont get me wrong either, I thought you were getting a 240 fastback (didnt pay attention to year), which i think isnt much better than a trueno here in the USA. Or even that you were trying to sell the 86 cheap cause of something that you werent telling us...Sorry i wasnt in the best of moods before...:O

What have you done to you 240sx tho to give it 3xx hp??? It sounds like you are going to have a sweet car. I would love to have a s14. but i would love even more to have a converted sil 80... with japanese specs.

anyways you have alot of cars... and i would take the 86 out nad the s14 in... esp if i lived on the east coast...

Well have fun with your mods... are you just going to college or already in it???

is it just me or do you all have trouble seeing avatars at times as well as other graphics on gtp

what exactly is an "S14 conversion kit"? The 96 240sx is basically an S14 minus the sr20det...so I don't really understand what "conversion" you're talking about.

hes talking about the headlights :D an S14 Q's has the american headlights and an SR20DE, while the K's model uses the silvia headlights and SR20DET

I still don't know what you mean "Silvia Headlights". Are you talking about Kouki S14 lights?

Speaking of that, Diety, since you're from Japan and all do you know if the Buddy Club air dam is still available for the AW11? I loooove the way it looks, I've heard conflicting reports from friends of acquaintances. Some say it's available, some say it's not.

The Buddy Club side skirts look good too but I'm really interested in tha front spoiler.

Innit purdy? :)

in the USDM version of the 240, has pop up headlights, but a S14 is a slivia, and he has a coversion kit whcih converts the front end into a S14 front end, mainly headlights, fenders, supports and mayb even a hood, i think hes talkin bout this

that's just a 97-98 USDM 240sx (or Kouki S14)...the only 240sx's that came with popups are the 89-93.5 (240sx convertibles were made in 94 I think) or in Japan, 89-98 (I think it was 98) 180sx.

Get the mirrors also ;)

yeah ethix, he has a 96 and wants to make it look like 97-98, b/c u dont c many of those on the streets these days, plus it looks a helluva lot better than the round-ish lights that it comes with on the 96'

You guys are right on the money with the look I'm trying to get. I saw a s14 converted 240sx in Boston and I was hooked, right now it already has the wonderful bundle of joy under the hood but the headlights and bumper conversions are the main order of bussness.

I still don't know what you mean with "S14 converted" ..the 96 240sx that you have IS an S14...no "conversion" needed. You could do an S15 front end conversion though, those look pretty sweet

well the thing is, hes covertign it from a zenki to a kouki, and there r barely any koukis in teh US, @least not in Cali cuz ive seen NONE, but yeah, and plus ppl seem to not wanna call em S14's they jsut like to stick to 240sx
