I'm trying to think of any crazy families like that one... no, that's basically the sickest family I've ever seen.

I'm sorry... I guess it's a good thing then. Thanks for clarifying that up. I'm bored as hell... I'm going to finish the Sil-eighty, and find some decent looking wheels for it. Any suggestions? Right now I'm looking at a set of Volk GT-N's for a great price. It's black, so gold rims would look the best on it.

well its not impossible.. but it is just I gotta import it from US.. and that costs a bunch..

SILEIGHTY!!! whhooo, best car ever! I love that thing! I go to sleep every night dreaming of buying a 240SX and imported the silvia front end from Japan *drool*

I'm still stuck at work right now, so I haven't had much of (read : any) chance to have a look about for things like the KA24. I've jotted that down as something to look into this afternoon, since I've already got a lot of running around to do for groceries, etc, I can easily get it done while I'm out there. I've a sneaking suspicion that that might be what's already installed in that Silvia, but who knows.

As for your Sileighty, I'm thinking you're right about the gold rims, that would look pretty good on it. Black and gold often compliment each other nicely.

And since I'm waiting on the tech. admin to set the sitemap live to see if it works, I'll see what I can't find now.

Volk GT-U's.... yummy...

You can probably fly here, pick up the engine, and ship it back and it'd be the same price... well a little more, but at least you get to fly here.

The RPS13 is basically 80% done. It needs new paint, and wheels/tyres. I've been working on it since I last messaged you guys and haven't gotten any sleep. My dad introduced me to a guy last night who gets brand new wheels at a great price. I can get the front Volk GT-U's (18 x 8.0) for 60,000¥, and the rear Volk GT-U's (18 x 9.0) for 65,000¥. So about $1,200USD which is a pretty good deal. I'm debating whether to go with 17" or 18" wheels though. Ahh, this car would look crazy with gold 18" inch GT-U's. I don't like the GT-N's which I was planning on buying. I realized what they'd look like on the car... not as nice as GT-U's. Well I'll try and sleep, but most likely I won't...

The Trueno is in GT3, but you would need some cheating device thing to get the appropriate engine. There's also the "S.S." version of the Trueno made for the creator of Initial D. It has an engine similar to the engine in my real life Trueno. The F/A 4A-GE is not in any GT game, and I'm about 99% sure that the MA63 Celica isn't in GT3.

I need my 2 hours of sleep.

Well, the Silvia sold by the time I phoned. However, this isn't a big setback, because I was just introduced to Australia's largest online used car listing, and it looks like I could get an RX-7 FC3S for about $13000-$15000 AUD. That's extremely good, and it would only cost $100 to get it sent up via train from Brisbane to Townsville.

Now it's just a matter of finalizing loans and making calls. Oh, and choosing colours, for sure ;)

Go with 18's in the back, 17's in the front...it looks badass.

In Austrailia, do they have the KA24?

No tom, Australia does not have the KA24.
But we do have the CA18 and SR20..

Im sooo excited to go to japan! cant get it outta my head!
Gona work real hard next year.
I estimated how much im gona be bringing over to japan,
around 1,067,443 yen. Hope i get a decent 180SX in good condition and low km, or mayb my choice or car will change..

Is it ok if i cant speak japanese? :(
For sure ill try to learn some basics but still..

Well the FC3S would be a better car... a 1,000,000¥ is a lot of money, but if the car is mint, it's worth it. White or black are the best colors I think for the FC.

Yeah I was asking my dad about that and he said it'll actually perform better than 18" inch wheels all around. I'll be ordering them later today, I should have them by tomorrow morning. My dad and I are taking the RPS13 to the paintshop today. I figured a nice metallic Carbon black would look pretty nice on it.

Well at least Nissan of Australia has intelligence, unlike the U.S. Nissan. A million ¥ should be plenty if you're just looking for the 180SX. I'm not sure how much travel, etc. is, but you should be fine. What's it cost to ship the car? And yes, it's okay if you don't speak Japanese. 90% of all car dealerships speak English because of foreigners, like yourself, that come and pick up great quality JDM vehicles.

konichiwa thats all i can do
  That's funny...

Good question. However, I left the URL for the site at work, and it's the weekend now, so I won't be able to doublecheck that until monday.

As well as that, I can make use of the family's RACQ (car-insurance type thing. Hard to explain.) and union membership to get people to check that, if I'm going to buy an FC3S, it isn't a dodgy sale shined up to look good.

The GT-U's????? You are sooooooo gonna take pics once you put them on!

Ha, I wish I could take pictures as it is... I haven't had a camera in... okay, I've never had a camera... I used to have a webcam, but I snapped the USB cable. And yes the Volk GT-U's look incredible. I'm giving that car a break (only needs tyres and another 24hrs for the paint to be finished) and I'm going to clean my AE86 and get the front bumper resprayed... I scratched the hell out of the front bumper and it just looks... unattractive. My appointment is at 3:30 so I have some time to waste. I'm going to battle tonight with this kid who sent three e-mails to me today to see if I'd accept his challenge. Like always, I accepted. Iroha-zaka is the place to be tonight... I seriously don't know why people want to race me there... Ugh, I can't explain it, but I take all those hairpins at such a high entry speed. Hopefully I get the lead from the launch... so I can leave him in the dust. It's about that time of the year when the conditions aren't great, but I just use windy conditions to my advantage. My dad is bringing his BNR32 (driving there illegally) and wants to do a few uphill runs. I'm not sure if he's intending to race, but I hope he does. I usually never see him race, and to see him race the uphill will be very interesting. Well I'm going to clean my car out and get the bumper off the Hachi. Bye.

Haha, please don't hate. ;) Thank you, I hope I win. I've been hearing that this guy's AE86 Levin is pretty quick. As long as I get in front of him... there's no possible way I'd lose... sorry if you think it sounds cocky, but it's the truth. Iroha-zaka is basically a one-lane road... with a lot of tight, 2nd gear hairpins. Everyone I watch that drives on this road, brakes so incredibly early. I just start the drift on the straights and as I'm sliding, just downshift into 2nd gear and take the apex. Much easier said than done, but I'm at that level of greatness where it comes natural to me.
;)

tom every word of yours makes my mouth dribble with jelousy. Even though im too young too drive still.
