Today is going to be the worst day of my life. I get called into work, on a Sunday which is a day when we're normally CLOSED. And I'm called in to work on THREE TOYOTA CENTURYS. If you don't know what the Century (or GZG50), it's Toyota's biggest sedan. It's size is similar to the Maybach 57, and it runs for around 9,800,000¥ to be exact. It has a 48 valve, V12 that isn't available in any other Toyota. It's pretty expensive for a company that's known for cheaper economy cars. But I have to come in because these cars belong to the Japanese royal family. The car is so difficult to work on because I think there's somewhere around 39 computers just to make the car run properly. I hate this...

It recently parked it front of the local SuperMarket, when a man with a camera came by, while i was packing my boot with my stuf i just bought, he said he was from some magasin named CarTune in, so he took some pictures..

I just finished the cars and drove as fast as I could back to my house... The car has 45 computers in it... not 39, and the reason being is because in the rear seats, they recline fully and it has a video screen and surround sound, etc... I think it's an ugly car and the massive V12 only pushes 280ps. When I was halfway done with the second Century, my dad stopped by and gave me a hand. I asked him, joking around, if this engine could be useful in another car. He laughed and walked away for 10 minutes... so I'm guessing the answer is no. The last Century needed a tune-up, new tyres, an oil change, and minor detailiing... you know, basic stuff. It took 3 hours to do it because after the tune up, you have to reset the timing and it's just not like a normal car... I'm so glad it's over, but I have tomorrow off, so I'll be up all night.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention. I'm thinking of picking up a carbon fiber hood and carbon fiber rear spoiler for my AE86. Although I like the looks of my car as it is, the hood I'm getting only weighs around 25 kg which is pretty good. The spoiler will not improve weight (by 1 or 2 kg at most) but it will look very nice. I need feedback... things like this I cannot decide for myself. Just like the Volk GT-U's I got... I wouldn't of purchased them if it was for your ideas. And they look awesome, I get a lot of compliments on the car when I drive it around.

And I'm thinking of selling the MA63... I don't want to, but I never drive it.

I'd just go with the hood. Since you say the Spoiler isnt for performence much, it really wouldn't be useful. But if the hood is for performence, weight reduction and all, I say go for it. :)

Phillip you are so full of **** it's not even funny. So some guy from a car magazine just happens to be walking past a super market with camera in hand, and asks to take pictures of your car. Riiight. How old are you? 12.. 13..?

Two dead give aways that Phillip is a fake.
1.) Only an idiot would drive a car with such insane camber just to go grocery shopping.

2.) Exterior Mods underneath the pic. That a caption from the magazine?

Also. Huge mistake here. On his GTP profile it says he was born May 6, 1988. Making him 15, no legal to drive anyways. But on his website, it says hes 22..Flaws flaws flaws..

OKAY! I was coming home from work and my dad said take a ride with me. I said sure. At first I thought we were going in the R32, but then he got in his Trueno. So right away I almost got an erection. Anyways, he said that he noticed some flaws in my driving (which I had no clue what he was talking about), and that "this" is how it's supposed to be done. We took a long drive to Iroha-zaka and he just unleashed this fury upon the road. Seriously... I don't know how he can lose, but he told me that this is just practice for the silver R32 that beat me and he just wanted to show me what he has in store for him. I can't explain it... just imagine a rocket powered rollercoaster... I was cursing and as he was on the straights, he punched me in the arm and told me to stop but I continued on with the language. When he was done and I regained my strength to talk I asked him how it'd help out my driving. He said "I don't know but I sure as hell hope you enjoyed this because it won't happen again." Then we went home, helped him take out the passenger seat and went to my room to... nevermind we won't go into that. But it was fun. Just thought I'd let you all know. I feel sick... I knew my dad's car is fast... I knew it's really fast. But I wasn't expecting this. The spooling up of the turbocharger just makes your stomach feel all warm and fuzzy. Well I'm off...

Arm... hurts a lot. Both of them do. My penis... that's a different story. I was using "erection" as an expression. If a car actually gave me an erection... I'd go visit a doctor.

-Tom

My precious MA63... is now gone. I don't drive it...so I don't need it and I sold it off. Today has been a short week at work (not a good paycheck), so now I can finally pay off my dad... We're going to do a long trip (I think 2 days) to hit two or three tracks. We're using a friends truck, I wonder what people will say when they see three "Panda" AE86's on a truck going by them. It's 9:00PM here and we leave tomorrow morning. Well I'm going to do a diagnostics on my car, then sleep. So see you guys later.

Hehe...

Well I'm not leaving this morning... it's freezing and raining and it won't stop until tomorrow afternoon. So basically I'm pretty sure this "trip" is postponed a day or two. It's 04:00 AM and it's Saturday... nobody is on the streets, therefore I will go out and do some stupid stuff without tearing up my tyres.

Since it's going to be winter soon, I'm going to spending most my time in the garage working on something productive. Also, since I have that extra space in my garage, I want to start up an older project car. Possibly a SA22C, AW11, S30 or maybe even a CE9A EVO I. It's just an idea at the moment but my dad wants to start this as well. The only thing I'm going to do this summer (that I know of) is replace the engine in my FC with a 13BT. The 20B-REW is not the best thing I could've done for this car. It completely disrupts the weight distribution. Although it pushes around 400ps, it's only good for tracks like Motegi. If I can't take the car to Tsukuba and pull out some good lap times, then I would need to make some changes to it. I was thinking of the 13B-REW... but a twin turbo in that car will be just as bad I think. My dad wants to try out the S30, but with his crazy ideas, traction will be the biggest issue when building that. I'd like to try the SA22C, and make it a drag car by dropping the 3-rotor in it. I don't know... Maybe tonight at Iroha-zaka I can get some ideas.

AW11...yummy...

ey Tom can I ask you a question? I know you probably raced Iroha-zaka a million times and probably think my question is pathetic but i still am curious. Did Genki really replicate the track (Iroha-zaka)? I mean the hairpins and all that? I know comparing a video game and real-life is just wrong but a video game is probably the closest i can get there. Well, until i actually go there. Oh and one more question, do people still drive and/or drift old cars there? TE27s, KP71s and those 77 corollas? anyways, ill shut up with the questions and just let you answer 'em...

Genki really did a great job on replicating Iroha-zaka in Kaido Battle. That's as close as you will get without being there. People will drive old cars, but they won't usually battle. TE27's are classics and people don't want to rish damaging them. I don't see many KP71's though... not sure why. My dad and I are going to retire out AE86's in 2006. Both of our cars are the from the year 1986 so we figured 20 years is good enough. He will most likely buy something else for downhills and put another ridiculus engine in it. I don't want to retire it... but I still have a good 2 years left with the beast. Hope this helped.

hmmm, cuz i thought, well, Kaido being arcadish and all that they just slapped some hairpins and straights and called it iroha-zaka. hehehe. :)

i just love that place. i really wish i could go there. not really to battle but just to drive it, you know? just to see how i'd do in real life.

from where i live, we have tons of old cars here (KP71s and TE27s). that's why i was wondring if you guys still saw 'em there and i wondered if it would be worth something to restore one here.

anyways, thanks for the answers m'man. i have to go out now and look for some beat-up old POS to eventually call my own:lol: .

I'm waiting for Kaido Battle 2... it's coming out soon. Thankfully... since it's going to snow and the roads are "undriveable" I'll be playing GT4 all day/night, so Kaido Battle 2 will just come around later on. It's actually really fun to drive on in the day time, at normal speeds (normal for me = speed limit x 3). I still see a lot of the older Toyotas... I work on a lot of them too. The craziest TE27 here, is using the same engine as my friend that lives with me. Formula Atlantic 4A-G pushing around 225ps. He's really good friends with my dad and he'll go racing with us once in a while. Ha good luck finding a beat up "POS."
