That's basically what FF drifting is. Ass draging with angle.

That is sort of like the first level, and that is not a drift.
But you can do it without holding the ebrake, and you can do it without the ebrake at all. The only technique that cannot be applied to FF is power over.

ALSO (I am naturally on Akina's side [unless he really makes himself look bad] because we are Californians. West Coast #1.)

Agreed. But without that e-brake, an FF really sin't impressive at all. How can you say you ride if you got training wheels on?

**** you Battle stage. saying my drifts are sloppy i know they aint. the lines i take are far advance to your own i dont know whos videos you been watchin or is it that you just ****en suck so much that you dont freaken have any idea. dont question my driftin in what so ever unless you wanna time trial battle usin drifting.

i know all you novice drifters judge by how the cars just slide around the turns. well its not all that. its how advance the line is and how stable and how long the car can hold that line. angle i dont even give a crap. i bet you dont even know crap about angling in drifting. ShUt ThE **** uP. the last thing i need is a Freaken novice who sucks tryin to say i drift sloppy.

Dude, you're "advanced lines" put you in the ****ing grass. I jsut watched one of your vids one minute ago. It was from your battle with my boy exhaust_note. It was pretty sad.

that is if you hold that position in a side ways motion all the way around a corner.

no one said anything about a straight away!

An FF can pull some really freakish drifts without the ebrake. I have to make a vid of it now, but it is possible. What is so unimpressive about an FF drift? Have you seen some really bad angles or something?
To me, and the FF drifting I have seen, the angles have been much more intense than FR.

(IRL I have seen some very very fast FF drifting on the track and on the mountain)

Akina, you need to chillax.

I really hope Cudaman will come in here and posts a message....

I would love to hear what Cudaman have to say about all of this....

;) :p

What I'm saying is if we took an FF and an FR on the same track in the same conditions, the FF would not be able to keep up with the level of drifting an FR can produce.

I think it would look different, but I don't agree. FF can keep up with GT type circut drifting. The thing that FF cant do is the low speed D1 competition/exhibition drifting that we don't see in GT.

I think this calls for a battle..I hope Akina can represent FF properly. Sigh.

yeah that is true and i dont doubt that but with you freaken sim driftin my FF drift will have no problem kickin your Ass. so if you want the battle bring it. or are you afraid. is this gonna be an exhabition cause it is than speed doesnt matter rite.

Speed doesnt matter. hmmmm.... that does ring a bell after all you guys be saying that slick drifting sucks. i think your gonna need to learn how to drift with slicks now just to keep up huh.

all you ametures dam. you all dont now jack. as for the definitions haha. it all suits the way your dumb asses who think they know it all. just cause you cant do it you gotta criticize it haha. so why is FR drifting any better than an FF drifting. it all takes technique to do, and by the way you dumb ass people drift with the FR cars i dont see why FF should should be thought of being bad.

oh as for a drift i dont see anything about a tire sliding with balance what so ever. FF, Pull YES. FR, Push OH REALLY. i think its quit funny dont you think. OH, wait 4WD Push and Pull oh man is a baby comin out of pergatory's ass now hahaha. wat a Dumb ****.

the point is it all has concepts to doin it rite. and for all those who dont know Jack ****, "ShUt ThE **** ^"!

you mom must of have drop you when you were a kid so go to the Hospital and get your AZZ Checked!

This isn't a playground so take your bickering elsewhere. Nobody's putting down FF drifting. If you actually read our posts instead of skimming over them so you could give us your opinion in return, then you would realize that. The fact of the matter is, that FF cars cannot drift. Ask any good drifter and they will tell you. I'm not talking about someone who can slide the car I'm talking about a drifter who maintains complete balance throughout the drift, using proper race form and perfect timing of weight transfer. They will tell you that FF cannot achieve this balance. AWD can, because the rear wheels are still powered. Only FF cannot. That doesn't mean FF sliding doesn't require skill, it just means it's not drifting, it's outside the scope. Sorry if that offends you but as long as you still also drift rear-wheel or all-wheel, then you are still drifting, so why are you complaining? If you can drift and ff-slide then more power to you, you've mastered two arts.

P.S. - It sounds like you have a good grasp on proper race form, what you said about advanced lines and car stability is dead-on, but your confidence is holding you back.

what just because im backin up FF drift, you think i suck at it. i guess this mean you want a battle huh. well this will not be a exhibition battle than this will be a battle for speed and for times. what do you think. oh and all you talk about balance i dont know what the hell you tryin to say cause any cars balance can be acheived if you are good.

is the balance on you head kinda off you are you just dumb.

Perg, did you read battle_stages' posts? Sounds like he is/was putting down FF drifting. Also, what good drifter are you talking about? D1 drivers will say that an FF car can't run with D1.. because there is no way it could, but they can still drift. I think you should have "read our posts instead of skimming them."

Drifting for times? This gets better and better. That whole sentence is contradictory to itself. Lower angles equal more speed. Lower angles also mean less drifting. So the faster you think you are the less drifting you're actually doing. Now there is the occasional turn where drifting it could be faster, but I'm referring to what will happen the majority of the time.

Didn't drifting start as a hunt for faster times?
