The one from direct Japan may only work for the Japanese/Asian PS2s... It's been mentioned on various websites that sell this game. The copied version along with the modchip, however, will work for all PS2s.

with that time ud be top 11 in the world..

u should post ur time coz thing is the top 11 wif 2'18 are either from hongkong or japan..

my dry times wif dc2 roughly are
akagi dh - 2'19'8xx
akina dh - 2'54'500
iro - 2'37'9xx
allcourse - 10'11'8xx (with help of some1 doing happo iB for me )

with the time of 2'18(spirit) im one of the slwoest i play. the fastest is 2'15(Dc2). and no im not from hong kong im from cali haha

i think u must be talking about akagi dh DRY! even so 2'18 is not that slow..

i only race wet. i think the oversteer-understeer is to my advantage. not to many where i play wet. they always dry. i think wet is better but thats just me....


BTW wanna start an initial D club. if you want lets think up of names for our team. emporer,nite kids,red suns, wutever..

i hate wet, its depressing.. even wif dc2 on akina i cant do wet anymore esp the S bend.. not fast enough wif reactions..

you'll need to import it directly from Japan.. with an asian machine..... Either that, or get a chipped PS2 for a copied version.
