I totally want that Clio RS. It reminds me of Dave Coleman and his antics back on SCC with the technical advice column he once did on a Nissan Sentra. Absolutely hilarious in my opinion.

Here is the article

That was an excellent and funny read, the photos at the end were great too. Thanks for linking that article, now I wish my Clio could have stayed like that :(

The Clio reminded me of the burned remains of a car you just destroyed then could drive around in the Simpsons Hit & Run. Ahh the memories.

Chrome Line cars can now be painted and have body parts added on.

The R8 Chrome Line and XJ13 Chrome Line are the only ones without body options. Both can be painted different colors.

Can you put this kit on the normal Murci LP640, I want one.. Hopefully to look like that

When it was in the actual magazine itself, the pics all lined up with the step by step of the article. It was great. I would kill to get a car looking like that in GT6 it would make the game perfect for visual cues for me.

Dave Coleman puts out interesting reads. Those of us that migrated to GTP back in the earlier years from the SCC article would probably all agree he is nuts, funny and brilliant. It you want to read more modern stuff from him, check out This website, I would suggest checking the Miatabusa first ;-)

Anyone know why you can't put anything on any R8?

Since you quoted that post about a very low rear wing, that reminded me that the BMW Z8 can have a low fitting wing too.

While you were able to fit a wing within a wing on the Ford RS200 back in GT5, with the custom wing option you can now fit it in nice and snuggly. I like it.

Personal opinion of course, but I think the AAR Cuda fitted with mods is one of the best looking cars in the game.

Last bit, sorry all for a picture heavy post. While I was having fun in a tuned Clio RS, it seems I ended up with a lot more weight reduction than I anticipated!

Some Massive pic dumpage incoming:

I suppose you're referring to the Clio, right?

Edit: I mean the post #817.

Would you mind saying how to make a Clio RS lose its bodywork like this?
Also, corrupt camera in the last shot.

Some bug caused the game to not load the exterior of the car.

With the driver numbers on cars, if you use the 86 "Racing" '13, and put a number on it with any of the first 4 bases then remove it, you will just shrink down the number instead of removing it.

The AAR Cuda looks like it's a race mod without actually being one....

I remember hearing about this, not sure if it was this thread though.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here yet but, as of 1.10, a handful of classic cars now have era-correct steel rally wheels.

That is awesome, definitely giving that a go!

Actually it was mentioned for like two, three weeks ago (can't remember page). Don't worry about it. :O Alpine just looks as it should do.

The Abarth BAT thing can have a low custom spoiler so it hugs the fins at the rear, looks quite flush with the right endplates

Interesting, I shall take a swing at that.

I was browsing the thread and the i-MiEV pictures reminded me of mine :) There's a few pictures of it in my gallery (see link in signature).
But it's interesting to see some of the, sometimes weird, changes that can be done to various cars :)

Is there a thread for which cars have the era-correct steel wheels? Is the VW 1200 one of them?

Wish I could fit them to some cars via GT Auto.

Well there are "Big updates" coming out soon, so maybe we will get these in GT Auto, or a whole set of other custom parts!

Sadly no. Just fitted dirt and snow tires to my 1200 and it's still the same crummy OZ wheels. :(

Might be just limited to new to GT6 cars.

There's no definitive list but it does seem to be only a handful of cars.
